Well it does have a cellar, and it's one that's related to what's in the Mill's cellar.
Other than that, he can't tell the difference between a tavern and a mill.
There is an exception to that, and that's purely for Gwen. Her corruption stat since it decreases over time anyway.
Saying that, I've never put it ludicrously high, so it could still bork things later.
The problem is the fact that updates are based on votes and that the story isn't linear. I've seen it with other games too. People vote more for which character they want more scenes for rather than what storyline they think is more interesting. That's why we still haven't gone to Kiliric, because most people would always rather have more scenes of an existing character rather than introducing a new character and finishing up a storyline.

I did Penny quests, then Tia, Mira's sister, Mira's mom... at some point house upgrades unlocked and I did them with the exception of kitchen kettle, bathtub heater... Those are gated by Mira questline...
The other upgrades got unlocked and I did them. Then I finally got around to level 40 on main and decided it was plenty to do the Mira questline.
Thats where it got screwed.

Did you fix Penny's barn? If this is the case, then, if I'm not mistaken, after the repair, the presenter will be able to fix his house (even without going through Emily's quest), so I think it's Chyos fault, since he either did not have time or forgot to add a letter after the repair of the house

Every character's storyline has quests. You cannot move forward with a character's storyline until you completed another character's quest belonging to his/her storyline.
As I wrote, you can't renovate your house unless you renovated Emily's. You can't renovate Emily's house before Mira joins the church. And Mira joins the church only after you went down the basement in your hut.
This is what always happens: you look at your hut and say "now that I've just renovated Emily's... I might renovate my house as well" (or so).

Hotfix 0.5.9.0b: Fixed that you could renovate the MC's house before finding Marcus' letter. If you already did that you will find the letter on the table in the renovated house.
Problem solved. I guess you might want to read this thread's posts and look for an answer - just like I did - next time.

I have the quest learning the truth active, but still cant read the letter for some reason.
Also, I have extra house in the background as you can see in the sides of the image.
Any solution? thanks

Well there have been a few more Bugfixes in 0.5.9.0c and 0.5.9.1 so your issues might have already been fixed.
That's the main reason why this thread shouldn't be updated with Test Versions... you tend to not get all the bug fixes in the end

Sorry to disturb you, Chyos. When I replayed the game it seemed I met a problem. The version I played is v0.5.9.1. After MC rescued Emily from the bandits led by Imawyn the first time, I couldn't bring her food and wood the next morning. This shouldn't be normal, right?
PS: Now I know why I can't bring food and wood that morning because the game mechanism forgot to renew the daily quest that MC could give Emily food and wood when she was rescued after she was captured a few nights ago. That's why I can eat with Emily's family by meats on the table that night although I didn't give her food and wood in the daytime.
