How to upgrade armor and weapons?
Have played a long time now, used cheat book so not sure if that is the issue, however when I click use on armor plates and wetstones, there is nothing to choose to use it on..
The only armor I can put plates into is Old Leather armor.
I notice armor slots 0/2. how to increase that to 2/2?
For weapons, if they have slots and I have gems like Jade.. I can put a Jadestone in fine, so know how that works, but can't for the love of God figure out the Wetstone function!? Also it mentions weapon oil, that's not in game yet or perhaps in later game parts?
When the game gave the upgrade tips I clicked too fast so can't remember much of that, my bad perhabs, but this upgrade thing is really a mess to figure out, a step by step explanation, perhabs with screenshots, would be appriciated.
Have used Search for info, some mentioned the more you craft of armor the higher your skill and slots will begin to be made.. if that's true then it must be a whole lot of no slot armor ya have to make, cuz non of mine gets any. If that's the case then all to do for in game months must be harvest ore, make bars, make armor, sell armor and repeat until slots turn up?
Pretty annoying to think about when there is a mastersmith (John) to simply put in the slots or train you on how to do it.
Also he told he would teach me something new, if helping him with Kings weapons quest.. that bugged for me.. had send 5 merchs to the mine, after clearing it (no dwarf mission done yet, but had met the girls for it and learned stealth skills)
Kept playing to see if doing Dwarf quest for mines would help on Johns quest, it didn't.. so in a glimse of "could be a bug?" I removed my 5 merchs from the mine and put them back the next day.. now the mission updated and could finally complete it so John would start working on my merchs gear. But he didn't teach anything new?
