Does anyone know a way to play through Hiba and Ayita's new love routes without starting a new game or have at least a full love route non NTR save up to the latest version? I've done their corruption routes because I thought that there wouldn't be a love routes for them anytime soon during 0.5.8.0b unlike Natasha and lo and behold the next couple of updates add them to the game...

I've already spent over 90+ hours and grinded like a madman during my playthrough for the more powerful weapons and armour. If the cheatbook included ALL the items I may have been tempted to just start again but the problem is that the cheatbook doesn't in fact have all the items and equipment, not even close.

And we keep telling you that the letter only enables STEPcest... Mira and you CAN (if THE PLAYER deliberately decide for it) have the same dad, but never the same mother.

It's what people call relationships between people only shareing partly the same relatives.
Be it by being remarried or one parent haveing more kids with someone else than a kids parent, etc.

You don't seem to know the difference between Step siblings and Half Siblings. Step siblings have no blood relation whatsoever. They're what happens when you're Mom/Dad marries someone else who already had kids from a previous relationship. If Markus and Emily got married Frisha would have been the Mc's step sister. They even mention this at the start of the game. Half sibling means you are blood related but only share one parent instead of both. Frisha and Mira are half siblings because they have the same mother but different fathers, and if you enable incest Mira and the Mc are half siblings because they share the same father. I know some languages have the same word for step sibling and half sibling, but English distinguishes between the two.

The whole reason "Step-bro what are you doing!?" porn exists is to get around incest laws whilst also taking advantage of the increased mainstream interest in incest as a kink.

You now the tag is probably harder fought for than "VN", "cheating" and "netorare"

The netorare tag is clearly the most fought over when it comes to definition - Whether or not it should be applied when it's not already there, whether or not potential love interests having sex with characters that aren't the MC is/is always netorare, whether or not swinging is netorare etc etc, and all to the point of moderators wiping out whole pages and more in threads.

Doesn't matter what they are... those definitions are all we get in order to decide wether a tag gets applied or not.
Look I am not gonna be the Paladin of any theme here (unless it's contra NTR), but this whole mess came up because people keep asking why the IC tag is no longer around, and for that this explanation is all we have.

Hi, first of all Thank you for all the event list. I saved everything on the game folder notepad. So that I always have everything present. I was wondering, can I activate the events, simply by changing the date on the PC?
Because having restarted the game from scratch a few days ago, I don't know if I'll be able to finish the October event.
And I was wondering, if I could change the date on the PC to avoid the wait. Otherwise I just have to wait for the months to pass in the game
From what I understand, the various events are activated either with the months in the game, or with the real months.

After your strength increase from chopping trees you now know how to do this. There is an axe near the old ruins on a stump. With it you are now able to cut trees in the forest. "

However, at any time of day and any level of lust she just says "Sorry I'm busy right now...". You cannot talk to her while she's in her hut either. Getting the axe changes nothing. Attempting to chop wood before starting her quest just return: "Maybe I should talk to someone who knows about this first". Cheating to get more strength changes nothing.

I found multiple posts in this thread asking similarly, but no answers.

The answer is in Mira's quest. You need to talk to Emily and she will give the task to get wood and food for dinner: now you can ask Tia for wood.

I tried to explain it to him too, but evidently that user doesn't like incest. So in his mind, he sees it that way. For me it was and is clear right away. The game contains incest of your choice. If you want, activate it, if you don't want, don't activate it.


The real question is: I don't want to open the Pandora's box again.
But since I see the question opening up once again, I have to ask the question. I have friends who also asked me the same question abaout the incest tag.
But have they removed incest from the game? And I had to explain to them that no. Some problem with patreon, and for protect the game and the developer, F95 remove the tag. At which point they told me: That some people, not seeing the incest tag, have stopped playing the game, precisely because even if it's just a character for now, those people like the incest fetish. And not seeing it, they don't play. So a question comes to me spontaneously, how do you make people who don't know the game understand that there is incest, if the tag or the explanations that are there, have been removed? I ask because in this case, Chyos will start to lose those people, who search for such a thing in the game. Even if they are few characters, that fetish, leads other people to download, try and if necessary subscribe to his game. ( I hope I explained it well, because I use a translator to help me ).


Anyway I can't wait for the day when the MC will meet his biological mother. At that point I wonder... how will Chyos behave?
For those who have the version with incest off, will the mother be dead or no sex? While for those who have incest on, the mother will be alive and there will be a lot of sex (I hope )

I'm creating another post, because it has nothing to do with the previous post. And I don't want to create a mess.
I wanted to ask your a question about the saves in the game.
I still have the old version in my folder: 0.5.8.0 (where if you go into the woods you can update weapons and armor).
What happens if I load a save from version 0.5.8.7 into 0.5.8.0? And using the weapon update, are slots added to the weapons safe? Will the save be corrupted? Or can I then reload it in version 0.5.8.7 and continue from there? (basically so that I can update some weapons, which unfortunately the game continues to give me without slots). I'm talking about event weapons, not craftable ones.

The asnwer to relations between ingame and realtime dates is Yes.
Chyos said that he bound the Events to ingame dates aswell as real time dates so people can trigger the Events even outside the normal time frame, but also so that they are actually triggering as saesonal Events.

Sounds like a sure fire way to kill your save.
Going upwards from an older Version with safes is likely tested and fine, but going backwards should be impossible as the save game will have variables that the older game Version should not have and hencefore break either on load or after saveing again.
I doubt anyone definately has tried something like this but the logic should be sound.

I doubt anyone definately has tried something like this but the logic should be sound.

The thing is, the game loaded the save without any problem, maybe because the save is still at the beginning of the game, where the plot hasn't been shaped yet. The problems will come when I get to new content, I think. For now I'll try to see what happens, also because my real save is not this one. I'm just replaying to refresh my memory, since I had stopped for a while and since then a lot of updates have come out.

as I was saying I tried to update the weapons using the old version, but the weapons are not updated. Apparently, the game notices that the save is not the correct version and does not make any changes...

But the real one, where it is? Because i always do a backup. But i notiche, that also without a save folder, the game have save file somewhere else. Do you know the real location of the save file?

A Struggle With Sin only saves inside the game folder (www/save), much like most RPGM games.
The only RPGM games I've seen having external saves (in OS folders) are the games from NLT media.

It's both good and bad, depending on how you look at it.

If you delete a game that you never want to play anymore then the saves usualy stay there and if you do that with a lot of games it can end up taking some space.

But if you remove a game thinking about playing the newer version later, then it's good because you don't have to backup your saves before deleting/uninstalling the game.

And the same goes for games that only keep saves inside the game folder.
When i updated A Struggle With Sin for the first time ( it was my first RPGM game), I didn't know that there was no save made on windows and I deleted the older version before installing the new one and I lost my save with about 20h of playtime.

In the past Chyos experimented with a save locations in the users Appdata folder... but that didn't go well.
You might want to check that location still (see attached file from the save folder)
