People that are playing it aren't complaining. I am pretty sure that all of the MC's folks are dead, so what you are wanting isn't possible. There isn't any place in Arenfield that a mother could be hiding, and the MC has romanced all of the females present.

Not sure why you got the idea that the MC would romance his own mother, but there really isn't anything in the story that would lead one to believe that was possible.

My best guess is the MC's mom died by the hands of the cult after the birth of the MC, with the MC being a creation of the cult.

Clarification/Reminder

Mc's mother was a not named noble from Parakis (to whom Marcus was a bodyguard of) and could very well be alive.
The cult was created after Marcus and MC arrived in Arrenfield and only later on infiltrated/taken over by the more dangerous folks (demon worshipers/werewolves) and is unlikely related to whatever drama surrounded MC's lineage.

Claire is great too.
But scenes with Katherine are the best the game has.
But the best build up was with Emily.
Helena's great too, but was a bit too easy , hopefully more drama follows with MC's involvement with the "Queen".

I'm not sure about whether or not MC's mother might appear down the road, but I do know that if you read the letter in the basement twice, the second time it is read there is an option to change relations, and then Marcus will change from being the MC's guardian to being the MC's biological father.

So whether or not one of the MC's parents appears, as Ntrsugar hopes, depends on whether or not you read the letter a second time and change the relations. Obviously, with an option like this in the game that leads to dialogue changes, we won't be seeing another father appear somehow since this would lead to inconsistencies in the story.

The 2nd reading of the letter was Chyos way to enable incest for the players who wanted it.
Originally Chyos wanted that too I think, but had to go step route due to patreon.

But I think the non incest route with Marcus being a mentor is better now & should remain canon as it opens up for more interesting story in the future concerning the MC's true origin.

I've seen people in the Discord put out different ideas on what Chyos's intentions were, but I never asked him myself, so not sure. Honestly, never mattered to me because both routes make sense as canon, which is how it should be. I can't overstate how many devs fuck that up and make only one interpretation make sense; or even worse, make both not make much sense while trying to accommodate both.

If you want to treat the default relations as the real canon, go for it, as it doesn't matter much to me. Just don't expect a father (or any family, for that matter) to show up down the line.

We are talking details of a story that I didn't really fully interest me in the first place, when I read it two years ago. I fully admit that I am not into the psychological aspect of these games. But that is how I play video games in general, I skip the dialogue in an Assassins Creed, Zelda or RDR2 faster than I do a lewd one.


But to say that the mechanics are wasted on me, is foolish. Just because I ain't mad that I as the MC am not boning my own mom doesn't mean you are having the better experience.

The MC was a bum that can be Mira's half-brother, but by default they are not related.
His Mom could be alive, his default Dad is dead.

The Cult was a Resistance againts the royals, based in Arenfield.
Some people from outside town united and brought in some weird shit. Marcus got out in time, Roderick not.

The MC got his sexual abilities from the Goddess Isha.

The Cult is (apparently) under a Demon's domain. This entity will be introduced when the Dev develops the Cult questline.

For me Isha is to simple and doesn't answer all the questions. You have a lust problem that needs to be controlled that I believe is genetic.

If you don't see whatever the cult is doing to woman twice a week is likely related to the MC's powers, I am not the only one missing parts of the story here.

IIRC, stepcest is likewise against Patreon rules. They also removed "landlady" games with customizable relationships, as long as the setting is "family-like" i.e. sex can be interpreted as incestuous.

There have been 84 updates in that five years. You can get a meal, and a warm bed in at least 9 locations, three bases outside of Arenfield. (I am counting the Old Boar, Rumah and your camp). Numerous other beds you can just go sleep in without any cost, more where the only cost is sex first.

It's wrong headed to act like updates haven't been made, or that places in the map haven't opened up.

Seeing that you, like me have cheated up to level 99, it really doesn't make a difference, at all.

Lately on my play throughs I kill him there to clear out quest. But if you were playing the grindy way, witchcraft is best because you can get him to have the orcs not to attack you and other help on your way through the orc camps.

Chyos did say way way back like very early into the development of the game(like the first year) that they did plan for the game to be an incest game and that they eventually wanted to introduce the MC's bio-mom. But I don't think that's likely to happen now since they've gone back on that and said that they need to keep the main story in accordance to patreons rules. Another situation with the letter is probably the best we can get.
