There's many ways to edits saves and yes, you can indeed screw your save in many ways. Changing variables or giving yourself completely new items may cause the game to skip a flag for potentially new steps in a webbed quest. Increasing, in this case, the number of swords from one to two is not included in this scenario.

One thing is what the guide say, another is what the ingame status actually show.. with Isha/Gwen Corruption 100 I don't get a Poison Immune status, but with Vexx's ring I do, test for yourself if you like
I would love if it did work as you say, that way my MC could use Jodarr's ring with extra Magic instead, untop of the new one stolen from the Goblin Queen, but to be sure my MC doesn't get poisoned he wears the Vexx's ring.

With all the things that can go wrong for this game by using save editor I'd rather not touch it.. have looked it up TBH and wasn't able to find a satisfying one for this game, either it shows too much code to scroll on, or it doesn't show the values I wan't to change, or it doesn't work correctly, so all in all I won't bother with it.

Have come to realize we have 2 views upon the topic of game balance, personally I like exploids that doesn't break the game but makes it possible for multiple special items to equip on the team, for those who know how.
And it's not super easy to do so in-game without external cheats either, you'd have to spend a lot of game days/months/years to get the wanted items, a grind most impatient players would not go through.. so the prize so to speak would go to the patient type

hmm... I mean I think building camps is nice and all... but won't we be the ones to later burn it to the ground?
Our goal is to fucking eradicate those cultists for what they did to MC, Penny and Arianne... maybe even Carmen... there never was an expalanation of whom turned her son right?

I get the feeling MC will end up leading the cult at some point.
The extremists will be wiped out and maybe the cult can become what it was originally.

But than you'd either have to cure everyone that got cursed... willingly or not aswell or kill innocent people because you can't.
It seems far to messy for future builds.
Maybe the story will get a darker turn like some new millenia cults sacrificing all their members to summon something and MC can save himself and Arianna and some cult chick... I mean there is always another girl involved in his Updates.

Kinda bummed that Sabrina Futa Route involves "forced NTR". . Maybe in the future CHYOS could change it although given the demand for that stuff I'd probably say it won't happen, still fingers crossed maybe chyos would even include futa on male action.

Not forced if you disable NTR from the start, or if you have to completely ignore Gwen for that scene to happen.

She needs a total of 20 gold from you for her to buy the new dress, what treasures you get in the meantime are not affected by money given.

I mean I did test, which is why I brought it up. Regardless of what the attributes pages say I never saw the MC getting poisoned while influenced by Isha's bond.
Also it's not so much that I defend a different kind of game balance, but rather defend, for the lack of a better explanation, a more logical stance in the base game. Or no obvious exploits/inconsistencies if you will.
Having an unit steal an unique weapon from an enemy and then having that item be dropped again when the fight ends doesn't make sense. (And I pointed the cheat option as the "viable" solution for those who don't want to be restrained by these kind of restrictions)

The last time Chyos reworked the older Quests it was as part of the overhaul Update... at least I hope he won't add another before adding Mira as the 5th partymember (or reserve party member, since 4 members is RPGM standard).

I don't know if the game will limit you to four active members (it seems logical in terms of game balance plus how weird it would look on the map to see 4 or 5 people following you through the map) but according to his comments on patreon he plans on adding Imawin and Mira to the possible roster. I think it will depend on who gets their update first.

Anyway my main point is I hope we won't have to ask for a dedicated update to implement these Characters into the older quests each time a new one joins but if have to be one Update once the roster is complete... yet I wonder wether that won't change with Kirlic again, since new hunting grounds means new specialists most likely

Why limit the number of active members?

Right now the game doesn't have a formation menu, but usually with other rpgm games you are limited to four active members and any other further companion is added to a "reserve" list that you can swap in at will (as Eva has mentioned above). I'm not sure if this can be circumvented with plugins (fairly possible).

I mean there is also Sabrina once or if you ever free her from her bond with Isha, and Raisha with her spear... there are already damage types for those in the game so it's just a question and matter of time and dedication I gues...

I have found my save file, and our worries may not happen. Having more team members is one of my motivations for playing games

Katarine however is a none combatant... same as adrianna when you save her from the hideout.
Wether or not there are actually more than 5 characters fighting along you is another question.
You normally have party +guest slots to display other characters being involved in a story quest but not active or permanent present.
Would be bad if you had to switch an active combatant out just to have some damsel in distress following you, while you have to fight your way out whatever mess she got herself trapped in.

I started a new one for the 6.0.0d version and yeah I'm dreading having to start again when chyos finally fleshes out different routes like the athia one for example.

Doesn't seem that messy to me, but I guess it depends on what chyos wants to do.
I could see him giving us the option of hijacking leadership in a more "evil" play through or killing the current extremist members and freeing the members being blackmailed like the carpenter.
