It's time once again to give you an overview of the status of my work. So here we go.
The week has started with me continuing Carmen's quest to find her son. You have to know that I originally planned this quest very extensively, but there were already a few steps that I considered illogical and saved under "I'll take care of it when I'm actually working on it". Well, this step now came.Â
For a short time, I had the idea of just ending it all in uncertainty. A conclusion, so to speak, but somehow not (Just let the player make his own conclusion). As tempting as the idea was, it would have meant scrapping the planned story just to get a few quick sex scenes with Carmen. And you can imagine that I wasn't happy with that and preferred the longer version.
Nevertheless, I then started working on animations for Carmen (To get it done and to better invision future content). 8 animations + transitions (530 images). Also 2 new animations for Kate (90 images). After I had finished editing and inplemented these pictures, a large part of this week was already over.
On the other hand, it was also an important step that had to be taken for the story and its conclusion. Nevertheless, I would of course have liked to have gotten further.
There's still today, of course, and I'm going to make the most of it. However, it won't be enough to achieve the kind of conclusion I was hoping for at the end of last week, namely: to finish the update today.
So I'll need a few more days to finish the quest and then put all the animations into a working scene with fitting dialog and characterdevelopement.
I realize that some people here may be getting impatient, I'm no different. I want to be finished with the update by now and move on to the next, but that conflicts with my desire to fully complete it. So I hope you can be patient a little longer, I'll do everything I can to reach a conclusion as quickly as possible.
