The 10 constant users on the thread including me: Nah you are imagining thingsis it only me who addicted to this game ?
Thanks, mate. Still, ain't no different from the others trying to make a game, well maybe minus the broken hard drive part. All trying hard to make everything work together with thin ropes, dry glue and hopes it won't blow it up right in your face. That’s a tough hurtful ascension towards martyrdom or ascension of develophood, Respect man.
(No I am not going to answer day x day)
is it only me who addicted to this game ?
Addiction? Impossible. You just love the game, a great game. The 10 constant users on the thread including me: Nah you are imagining things
Well you know some hobbies can turn into full time jobs, happened to many devs here, but laziness is something I get, I comprehend and embrace. Thanks, mate. But for me it's a hobby project. And I am sure it won't turn into full time job. Not with my poor skills, lazy ass and state of my game. Also I'm using those free resources from the forum. They ain't bad, many of them are actually good in my opinion, some even necessary and you can easily edit them to fit your needs. Yet for many it's like a quality margin of great game. But I like them.
RealAddiction? Impossible. You just love the game, a great game.
And I'm not saying that because I have overall 300+ hours in this game if my math is correct... no. NO! I DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM!
Yeah... I'm super lazy. I am so lazy I can't even be more lazy. Because if I do that it means I'm dead. And I am already dead inside, so that's really close.Well you know some hobbies can turn into full time jobs, happened to many devs here, but laziness is something I get, I comprehend and embrace.
Also lack of skill, but yeeeh laziness.
Maybe one day we will see your work one day.
Well, you ain't the only one. Nobody likes walls of text. It's just tiredsome at the very begining, because... it's too much of text. But if you cut that text into few paragraphs, throw a dialogue here and there, character changing thier poses or moving thier mouths during dialoges, maybe some movement in the background, it's way easier to read, because something is happening. Sadly, there are cases when that wall of text is really needed, because you need to explain something important.I like this game so far. Many things happening.
You can hunt, fight, mine, cut wood and many characters that you can interact with.
I played few other games with still images with wall of text(my attention span is very short and it's hard to follow the "lore")
But TSWS is something different and i like it.
I am also dead inside but I just gave up, ah!Yeah... I'm super lazy. I am so lazy I can't even be more lazy. Because if I do that it means I'm dead. And I am already dead inside, so that's really close.
But we can still dream about my game being finished... in teaser/demo version. Hah.
Wall texts can be fun or entertaining if built over a looming sense of mystery or a gut wrenching emotional moment… or if they are simply well written (Star wars literally starts with a wall text, but there curiousity and movement play a major role), but ASWS would probably suffer from it.Well, you ain't the only one. My teacher always said: "You have to increase the pace with your words alongside the pace of the situation. If you write a heated argument between lovers don't use long sentences, even as narrator. Few words at best. Cut thier dialogues, they are arguing after all. If your main character is in the middle of battle, sweating, bleeding, fighting, don't write long sentences, don't write a wall of text about his state of mind. He is in danger, he might be dead in a second. He's fighting for his life. Use short sentences, even single words if needed. /He pulled his sword. Stabbbed man in front. Looked right. Left. Another man comming. He pulled his sword. Blocked enemy strike./ And don't treat your potential readers as retards, you don't have to explain everything to them. They will get it or reread the situation if needed."Wall texts can be fun or entertaining if built over a looming sense of mystery or a gut wrenching emotional moment… or if they are simply well written (Star wars literally starts with a wall text, but there curiousity and movement play a major role), but ASWS would probably suffer from it.
Chyos style is more fast, short sentences, impactful weight on plot twists, no unwieldy speeches on the aspects of the world and gods.
Wall of text can be found only in books and letters thorough out the game, which are expected to be heavy on word counting.
An ASWS VN wouldn’t work at all, Chyos ain’t that able to create an only VN structured game, pen essay Goethe style, the charm of ASWS it’s in his classic RPG characteristics, with whimsical circumstances and moving world.
Who the fuck was your teacher Robin Williams? My teacher always said: "You have to increase the pace with your words alongside the pace of the situation. Sad!Books and letters are understandable. They have to be long in order to provide players with more information in the shortest time possible. But, if I have to be honest, I did not even tried to read books and letters in ASS. After few words I just stopped. That font is making my eyes bleed.
Yes it has the option to bimbo up LiandraDoes anybody know if the update 0.5.6.5 has the option to get bimbo Liandra in the camp route or is that something that will come in a future update?
Dunno. Was he capable of turning into a woman? Because she was a TILF alright. Sadly, live ain't a porn game.Who the fuck was your teacher Robin Williams?
Sorry not sorry! But I like my eyes way too much to try reading those undreadable hand-made looking fonts.Sad!
I took a lot of time writing some of those!
I could suggest a choice to give an option for an understandable font, some games do that, like Pentiment.
Are you saying Robin Williams wasn’t a TILF? What are you some kind of heathen?Dunno. Was he capable of turning into a woman? Because she was a TILF alright. Sadly, live ain't a porn game.
Try harder, imagine all poor historians try to read sources.Sorry not sorry! But I like my eyes way too much to try reading those undreadable hand-made looking fonts.
Sometimes you need to do something immersion breaking in order to be... not annoying.
Well... yes? At least on the heathen part. I believe in Don'tFuckingCare'ism. Are you saying Robin Williams wasn’t a TILF? What are you some kind of heathen?![]()
Well, then I'm going to ruin your day, cause I had THREE TILF's in my school. Well... third is rather questionable though.Never met a TILF irl, but that’s a good excuse for adding one in the university if they still hire female professors.
I know there is at least one bangable stundent, and maybe a milf teacher.
Or it’s a typical medieval university and no women as professors.
I'll gladly rise a glass in thier name as they endured such suffering so I don't have to.Try harder, imagine all poor historians try to read sources.
Immersion breaks at some point, I get it, I’ll suggest for a readable font then.
Stumbled onto this game; and been loving it, (40ish hours in atm and just taking my time), but I gotta ask...
What's the BGM or music track that plays when you fight boss battles? I've heard it twice so far. When fighting Imawyn and when fighting Gurtak.
I'd love to know the name of this track.
Thanks so much!
