Tell me what to do, I've already worked in Claire's kitchen all week.

What the quest doesn't tell you is that it's not enough to just work with Claire, the point of working with her is to raise her affection, so you can progress in her story to the point where you discover Thomas involvement with the Cult. But you can do it without Claire too. Read this post.

Two ways of progressing that.
Progress in the quest "The head Chef" up until the point you start having sex with Claire. After that you should get the step of "having fun in the cellar", do it and that will start a new quest ("The secret in the cellar") related to Thomas'
involvement with the cult.

OR you can skip Claire (whether you want to delay her relationship or if you're not interested in her at all) and do it "the sneaky way". On a Wednesday or Saturday go to the kitchen and wait/skip until midnight, then go into the cellar and you should see a messege telling you to hide. After a short monologue of MC you will also get "The secret in the cellar".

If you already triggered the quest "The secret in the cellar" do what TheGreatMasterCory told you.

What you're saying isn't possible. Missing that scene with Arianna doesn't lock you out of getting the Tainted Dawnbreaker.

You just have enter the chapel within the underground hideout. Then you'll encounter a boss called "The Prophet."

Defeat him and then he'll drop the Tainted Dawnbreaker. The scene with Arianna isn't a requirement.

And Melissa's Maps aren't needed to obtain this sword either.

Adding to that, if you have the money, you can buy wine to refuel the mc's lust so you can pretty much farm Tia's corruption to the maximum

I'll repeat, unless it was changed in the most recent update, getting TJ in chieftans hut lets you grind it up without advancing time or worrying about lust. I'm certain it is also the quickest in terms of real time as well.

I just tried both.

You are confined to having to be in Rumah, but lust isn't needed.

Speed of scene is maybe like half a second faster.

You get three vials of cum from masturbation / bj, you don't from in the chieftan hut.

Both are pretty equal. Not needing lust does help the hut, but having to go to Rumah hurts it.

The vials of cum was something I didn't consider, I admit, but I wouldn't consider going to Rumah particularly detrimental. Stuff takes you there regardless, and jumping her up to corruption 20 or whatever so she's fine with other girls in one go compared to just grabbing a point or two here or there is probably what most people who aren't new players would do, and you get the option quite quickly.

Where are you at with Arianna's "Disregard the threat" or "Arianna's House Arrest"?

Have you been in Marcus's basement yet?

Your "Infiltrate the cult" maybe hung up by other quests.

You can't really advance where you are at until you have something of Marcus's and have done some stuff related to Arianna.

TheGrandMasterCory and spiegelbild look at a completed (up to current content end) of "Infiltrating The Cult" do you remember what triggers that first item, from the directive about Claire. I don't. I guess the directive about Claire disappears.

This may be true. Once you progress the Rebuild Darkholt quest enough, the cultists no longer spawn underground.

So if you don't obtain the Tainted Dawnbreaker before that point, you may be locked out of it forever.

The only way forward for you, Lopsik, is to progress Arianna's story to the point where you confront Roderic.

The specific item you're showing has disappeared for me in the quest-logs.

It's true. I never fought for the Dawnbreaker, i'm far into the Darkholt. You can't get it anymore. Since MC no longer sneaks with the other characters. Maybe in the future, Chyos can add 2 options so you can go in no disguise with the gang and attack or disguise go alone to do business.
