It has been roughly a year, can't say I remember everything.
But iirc, you press z while behind the secret door and the options will be there.

I think you should explain what's happening to you.

Anyway,

1) you aren't supposed to sleep in your dad's bedroom,

2) you still have to pay taxes, mind you.

Follow the walkthrough, you have continue the relationship with Kate and see her private dance, after that you should one night dirnking st the tsvern with Rick, snd her friends should show up

I believe what you might be running into is a bug that was mentioned by Chyos himself earlier on after the 0.3.4.5a release, please see this for the hotfix:
