You know the ice-berg metaphor... Well because of Kubrick, the movie has such levels and layers.
- At top people think its only a degenerative sex cult
- a religious sex cult
- an occulté cult with tons of semiotics
- whole movie is about smol hat tribe and stone-cutting lodge

This is why I thought Chyos knows whats up with the movie and the cult in the game is somewhat similiar to it.
Let me explain. We, as human kind, had pornography from the very beginning. Idea begins with observing one or more other people having a sexual intercourse. In times of Romans, we've got to the point we have today. They had slaves in their mansions having sex in front of an audience, either by pay or forcefully. Now thats two point arrow. One that observes the event, involves with it either by masturbation or some other acts.

With this info in mind; I cannot explain the Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut, but I can give two important hints that are key to reveal whole image.
1. Masks dont mask anything. Even though everybody in the scene wearing masks, they were all able to recognize Bill (Tom Cruise). So they all know and recognize each other (the audience) but the girls... Only the naked girls dont know who is who...
2. Consider the things I've said about pornography, does any scene in the movie seems to be a real life porno? Men wearing masks watching naked girls having sort of sexual intercourse... But do they enjoy it? Are they masturbating? Do they seem like they are there for sexual intentions? No, its the opposite. Its not the girls but the men are object, and the girls are the audience. (this oneis hard to understand)

So with all these in mind go watch the movie again. At the end you'll ask yourself ''Why the Orange man have a Slavic super-model wife?'' if you can answer, you know the truth.

So this could be the same intent with the cult in the game.

The way I see it Chyos made it clear that any religious order made by man is an over romantification of the trueth.
The Gods are not benelovent and they don't care about the mortals beyond a certain point of being worshipped.
The gods don't interact with the world and maybe are even unable to.
Isha made it seem like "gods" are actually Avatars of the most powerful forces of this world, yet don't hold any true power over them... makeing the "gods" to be religious people of the "true gods" which are impersonal forces of the world and universe.

The movie can be also read as some kind of metaphor of the pleasure of infidelity, the protagonist and his wife are all close to the betrayal of each other but they never reach it.
As you said the sex scene ritual is archaic, probably comes from the celebration of the holy days of Dyonisus, and to think that theater was born by those rituals...
I think the movie should be seen as a whole and not only on that famous part everyone think about it

Going to the Camp and useing the Map should tell you that the Camp in it's current form can only support 10 men, but in the near future we are supposed to make improvements to the Camp (Lyvia just needs to win a Patreon Poll)

If I remember correctly , Verena’s update was winning, so Verena should be the next storyline, then After Verena, the poll of Kate’s pregnancy was second.

Ugh, what a waste. I dont mean to kinkshame but holy hell why do people insist on wanting pregnancy in the game. All it revolves around is the woman getting uglier and having a child in them, thats something that should be saved for a final update/ending scene. Try as I might I will never understand that, honestly doesnt even seem like a porn fetish, more like just wanting to be a father?

Home Updates are actually tied to Gwen/Isha Story.
In Bianca's story the MC muses with letting her hide in his house so she can observe humans daily live in Arenfield during the day

I'm once again at the crossroads, should I keep Liandra and fail the quest or handover her and marry Julia? I care very little about Liandra and I do pity Julia, but if keeping Liandra gonna grant me political power over Giron later on, I might keep her at camp.

I personally didn’t finish this quest yet.
But if you want to save that poor girl of Julia, you can, even by not giving Liandra to Giron (At least, it is what the walkthrough says).
If I give her, I’ll give her with the chastity belt on, just to save Julia directly and to piss even more Dave.
If I keep her, I’ll probably give her to the boyfriend, or try with a save file her route.
Either way is an hard choice, that will surely open many interesting conclusions
