use witchcraft. Gurtak will actively help you and Umah will be left alone to fight you without her allies.

With so many reports, I brought this to Chyos's attention, but he is having difficulty figuring out what could be causing the bug, and is requesting a save file. If anyone has a save where the ambush flag is failing to appear, please provide one.

My educated guess: same reason why some people couldn't trigger the conversation between the Baron and his son

PLEASE keep in mind that the number of the save file in the game and the number of the save file in your save folder don't match. If it is File 1 in your game, then you should grab File2 from your save folder; if the save in the game is File 7, then you should grab File8, etc. It is because the game's autosave is File1 in the save folder, so every other save file is +1 because of this.

I think it's linked to the Maui Quest "Inexplicable Evolution", It's a quest within a quest and if you don't complete it the flag won't show. I'ts working fine for me without even using the walk through.
P. S....I killed Gurtak so thats not a workaround

No, only two characters for now have different dresses if you progress with their storyline (they are actually three, but basically Tia’s wanita outfit it’s just half naked)

That Reminds me... Claire also has an alternative Outfit... namely her naked Apron Outfit if you help her in the kitchen after 10 p.m.
And Kate has several Dancer Outfits

Sounds more like the game mixed up her first time being with MC versus being with someone else in NTR route, probably Thomas in this case.

Chyos has fixed this in his latest update for the patron version. So...the solution is to get that updated version.
