Red is NTR, usually unavoidable since The decision is final, like letting Thomas harass Kate indefinitely.
You see that's the part that confused me and that's why I came to ask about it here. "Advise against" is color coded orange and "Approve" is color coded "red" but usually vanilla and ntr decisions are coded green and respectively. On top of that the WT doesn't specify if it's the ntr choice and just says allowing it will let her dance during the serving minigame. in the walkthrough the ntr decision seems to come later after you get her the red dress and Toren and his friend arrive, which apparently can be avoided and branched of to the love route according to the WT.
So please I'd appreciate if you could clear my confusion regarding the choice. As in if approving her to dance locks you in the ntr route.
Thanks

I think orange is reversible, since you can stop Kate from dancing, you can tell it during the night after work, but you cannot stop Thomas from harassing Kate once you agreed the deal.
I don’t remember that much on the exact color matter, my apologies, it has been a while since I finished Kate’s content, but usually the decision of a definitive NTR route is clear, straightforward and red.

Dude c’mon we have been talking about this for pages in thread you can find it, even using the search bar…

That icon is the effect of the strong aesthetic, and yes it should be added in the rework a page of all statuses
Oh Thank you! It was my fault not to search them even that is just a few pages ago..

Why are both decision regarding Kate's tavern dance coded in orange and red respectively? And if I approve of it does it lead it unavoidable ntr?
Also what does the "red heart with an hourglass in the middle" icon mean? Is it an indicator for the strong anesthetic? I wish status effect icons were described properly.
I'm working on my own walkthrough. It also lasts a while.

Kate's NTR possibilities have nothing to do with the dress. These scenes depend on other decisions. As far as I know, apart from the MC, she can fuck: Thomas, Rick, Arianna, Grant, Toren & volks. There are also smaller trysts with the soldiers, but they don't go to extremes. And these all do not depend on the dress.

Unless that changed with the last update. I haven't played that yet. ;)

Random question:
Does Chyos even plan to balance the game out? Its pretty easy to cheese money and combat, so everything starts to get so easy that loses the "danger" sense the story tries to give.

If you are a regular user here, (or you read the previous posts) you should know that normally Chyos release two updates per month, a work in progress one and a completed one.
But since either covid messed him up, or he started ambitiously making bigger updates the flow of the releases doesn’t anymore follow said approach, but he still publishes the same updates per month only that they are both work in progress or test versions (With unfinished quests, some major bugs, the walkthrough not updated et cetera).

Patrons vote for what content they want to see at first, next updates‘topic shall be like this:
- Currently: Mira’s monastery update
- Next one: Melissa
- Third place assured:Rework an balance update

The others can surpassed at any moment by votes but here they are:

- Penny
- Julia
- Bianca and Gavina
- Kate and Claire
- Arianna
- Kirlic
- Sophie

No Rumah or Gwen updates for this round (that will end probably next year in spring)

Weird, you are the first person that says that’s too easy.
He wants to rebalance the grind, scenes and whatnot, during the rework update we will know more…
Or during a conversation with him
Yes.

What the fuck is Bazinga?
Bazinga is a cry of war that inculcates fear into the enemies.
It’s also a cry of love, of desperation and of horniness

I would actually agree with him but with slight modification: it's either too easy or too hard - many traditional rpg games fall into this trap i.e. - there will be some threshold, and prior to that threshold enemies are extremely hard; bordering on unfun, and then after you crosss it, fights are trivial, bordering on boring.

IMO a game that has ideal fight balancing is the original Wicked Rouge if anyone here has played that. The fights can still get you killed at any level, but they're also usually winnable except if your gear is total crap.

Part of the problem in ASWS is just not enough item options early-midgame. The introduction of leather armor is good, but realistically it comes too late (past that proverbial threshold). The real jump is between not being able to kill the groups of 2-3 orcs in the northern woods, and breezing through them. There are certainly other powerspikes/challenges; like the lvl 25-35 bandits or orcs, or the 32-34 bandits, but at those points the player is pretty well equipped and has things figured out.

This could be improved by adding more diverse weapons/armor early on- which could be easily added through the form of John sidequests.

Really? I'm not even a pro gamer and i always end overlevel'd and with more money than i need.
Weirdly i dont see that much of a grind since time skip helps alot, the only thing that sucks is grinding corruption on some girls and the fact that some quests (early ones) do not have alot of information on the dialogues (so you have to use the wt) or content that is locked behind some quests even if they didnt have to.

I love going hardcore especially in rpgs, but I don’t know if he’ll go that route.
In the notes I specified details that could and should improve the game, he will read them after Mira.
Improvements such as items, more enemies, new skill to find, a better questlog system.
I even pondered on putting a Kamasutra option, with the list of all sex scenes and how to get them.

Eh but eh I mostly agree with Yotetar, it will be a balance that will leave many satisfied and many unsatisfied.
It will definitely fix some problems tho, especially on the orientation aspect wise of quests and approaches.
Now he just needs to read my notes after Mira and have a colorful discussion.
And that’s it.
