I pretty much saw Palak's situation as the equivalent of Twitch Thots and I care not for the simps who enable them. In two scenarios he makes his bed and lays in it. He is a simp who competes for the affection of an attention whore who obviously gives no shits about him. Not realizing Ayita for what she is a price he ends up having to pay for, either from dying in an attempt to impress her or watching Chad Thundercock fuck his oneitis. The only option he had was to basically 'rape' her by giving her drugged wine.

Rick on the other hand, hasn't done much wrong and does help the MC with information. The only thing he's guilty of is that he probably could have done more to help his 'best friend' at the start.

yeh rick needs to leave arenford and go in the opposite direction of the mc. mc is a magnet for anyone of quality.

honestly, a side quest where we help rick get sober and fix his shit would be great. cause honestly he's a mess. it won't happen since now there's a whole bonus scene that revolved around him passing out drunk so you can have a threesome with kate and arianna.
It can happen in the future, Rick family quests aren't over.

A question for everyone about Verenna.

On moral paths we have the same dilemma:
She is a whore, no doubt, but his husband is not an asshole.

What did you choose? What is better?

because her husband isn't an asshole, I decided to take his burden. now he can move on and find someone to have an actual loving relationship with.

It's pretty obvious that in the long run there's no happy end to that marriage, there's too much baggage on both sides for that to happen. So it's better for him to start again somewhere else with new wife, after getting rid off his curse.

Hey, you,the guy who loves Blade Runner, answer my moral question.:cautious:
Hey c’mon Blade runner is a good movie, I forgot your moral question Yotetar, could you remind me of it?

Edit: Ah yes the Verena one, indeed it’s quite hard, what is the solution?

Sharing it with Roderick may change something, turning it into a spicy sexual situation, but would it actually benefit Roderick’s poor mind and state?
It’s more sexual than everything but for the long run… does it actually mean something to him?
Does it actually make it happy?
Are you doing the good thing and in the end you can fix it with the magic of the penis?
Or is it better to just stop it, and make Roderick think he has a second chance in love?

For that answer I shall wait more updates, since Ayita and Palak situation is a closed one, you can see the consequences already, while for Verena and Roderick, the situation is still building up

But just like Palak, I do believe there ain’t gonna be a good ending for him, just a bittersweet one, or a total sad one

I don't know, I personally felt that the route where we don't share her was more like
Roderick: "Well, looks like it just won't work out...welp, it's your problem now; good luck sucker. IM FREE!
Mc:"...Maybe this was a bad idea."

The MC genuinely feels bad for Palak judging by his dialogue.

I just enjoy sending the guy to his death and then getting the girl he actually did all that for.

He's just a sucker, a poor loser. May he watch in Heaven the MC fucking Ayita.

Tbh, if you actually take away the knowledge what player has and only rely on the knowledge what MC has, he doesn't really know that he sends Palak to his death, he just notices that Palak didn't seem to think things completely through. That's probably the biggest reason why it hits MC so much when he talks about it to Ayita, that due to his encouragement another person, who was friendly to MC, died.

The MC's alignment does affect his inner monologue sometimes, however.

About saving the hunters in Rumah, for example

"I would save them even if they didn't ask me to do it"
"I'm no hero... but saving those hunters will help me fucking all these women"

Oh sure, but saving them is different from encouraging Palak to do something that will end up in his death, when you are trying to help him. In one case your actions lead to death of someone who was helpful and accepting of you, where as in case of wounded hunters your actions lead to them being saved, no matter what your motivation was.

Oh god, that sucks, do we know which sickness is?
Best luck to him, hope he stays ok
Well...covid. he said he's on the rocky road to recovery. He's gonna try to make the Friday release but honestly he should probably take it easy.
