for the life of me, I can't find one of the sites for Melisssa's treasures, and it is the first one she asked me to do. Do I need to find an earlier save and hope it gives me a different location? Feeling like a clueless newb.

Winterhowl? I think it will switch back automatically in January. Normally it would just be in-game, but since it just became December, I think it will be there until the end of the month.

I don't know of any other costume reverts, once unlocked they stay unlocked.

A Challenging Week, but Not a Lost One

Good afternoon,
I had imagined this week to go a bit differently, but unfortunately things don’t always go as planned and you just have to make the best of it.

I already mentioned on Discord earlier this week that I caught a cold, which quickly turned into a fever. On Wednesday I was basically out the entire day, and only today I’m finally feeling noticeably better. Because of that, I wasn’t able to work nearly as much as I had planned and focused on tasks that I could still do without much thinking.
On one hand, I worked on a few more animations, and on the other hand I started setting up walking routes for NPCs in Kirlic, so they move through the streets and bring a bit more life into the city. I also added the first interaction points in the form of market stalls. Since I’m feeling better today, I also continued writing the story and expanded the quest with a few additional steps. However, I still haven’t reached the part where the player is brought to Kirlic by Bjorn.
Even though this is better than nothing, it’s still nowhere near what I wanted to achieve this week. But since I usually get knocked out by a fever once a year around this time, I’m hoping that this means I’m done with it for the rest of the year. There isn’t much time left before Christmas, and there’s still a lot I want to finish. I plan to work late into the night today to make up some lost time, and next week I’ll tackle the missing parts with renewed energy, exactly as I had intended for this week.
I hope for your understanding, and I’ll do my best not to disappoint your trust. The next weekly report will hopefully be more positive, I’d much rather talk about final goals for this update than about lost working time. I hope that will be the case next Friday.

Maybe I just play 2 saves for routes. Does this game's progress become difficult if I don't use the walkthrough guide?

There are NTR scenes behind battle losses, but not all of them. Ignoring LIs, corrupting LIs, failing parts of quests and some decisions also lead to NTR. There are more NSFW scenes if you mix NTR/Non-NTR decisions which are not mutually exclusive, but to experience all NSFW scenes you will need multiple playthroughs.

You can play without a walkthrough, but I recommend checking it at least once in a while to see the available content so you don't lock yourself out of it.

I know this game well, but I don't like punishment or back seat NTR, so I don't know that version of ASWS at all.

As I understand it, there is an equal amount of content on both vanilla and NTR paths, in that any NTR path is just a duplicate of the non-NTR path. One version has the MC's dick front and center, the other he is watching.

There are some LI's that have their NTR related to losing combat, but most of it is in story choices. (There are like 40 LI's in the game, only four or five have anything to do with combat.)

One or two saves is your choice, I play one, but I only want the MC's dick ruling them all, and I know the game well.

You won't unlock all the scenes without the walkthrough, just because you won't know what weird steps you need to unlock stuff. But since you are asking that question I would say play without the walkthrough until you have unlocked everything you can find. Then go to to the walkthrough and pick up the scenes you didn't inherently know how to get. (The game doesn't close out past missed opportunities, it deliberately leaves it open to unlock when you get around to it.)

Killing/banishing Dasan. Sending away the merc merchant. Some scenes you miss by speedrunning through some quests, like high corruption scenes with Maui and Tia at the orc camp. Choosing the route for Liandra.

Btw, does abyssal leather get lost when you renovate the house? Answered myself by looking through the thread: It does.

Thanks. He did ask for NTR scenes, and those are NTR scenes you can miss. Playing non NTR I wouldn't have realized that those scenes can be missed.

I also don't think I have ever got the resin before I have renovated my house, so I wouldn't have known that answer.

No, there is no gallery in any way. The easiest way to achieve what you want is to:
1. Download a Save-Game (either use the search or the ones in the OP)
2. Put the whole save-files into the save-folder
3. Use the walkthrough and look up the NTR-scenes
4. Find them in the game

But you will probably miss out, because 1) there are some scenes, that are not logged in the walkthrough, and 2) the game is just not intended to be watched as a gallery. The most fun it is, to immerse yourself in the story. Only then the scenes become hot and engaging. Since, let's be honest, the animations are not that high quality considered from the perspective of the state of the art.

Did you complete Lucius's "Control your lust" quest? If not, cheating in cumwine without the ingame knowledge of how to make it yourself means you can't serve it to Penny. Do that then you can serve it to her at dinner, you may have to deal with Henry first.

Or is it because Henry is present so you no longer can serve it to her at dinner? If so you just have to choose how to handle Henry then you can start to corrupt her again. If you kick him out it will be every night at dinner.

If you let him stay, I have never played that route, but Penny's 18-2 (online) or 17-2 (stand alone pdf) second item directly says you can start corrupting her again at that point.

If neither of this things apply to your situation you need to be more specific with exactly where you are. Which quest directive you currently are on, and Penny's current affection and corruption level.

There isn't a miss-able window to when you can corrupt her, you can always corrupt her in the future. There is a window to being able to fuck her next to recovering Henry next to you.
