rereading the post it literally says sunday evening
look i more want the changelog for all the cool stuff we getting, i also wouldn't mind yeeting 5 dollars at your boi to get the update."I hope to have everything finished by Sunday evening at the latest (fingers crossed)."
When someone working on a creative endeavor tells you "(fingers crossed)", it's best not to expect it at the hoped for time.
It's early evening for him, I am not expecting it today.
Plus this will be a bugtest, so I wouldn't expect it here right away, it could happen, but it shouldn't since Chyos directly asked that bugtests not be leaked.

I was incorrect and it did say there would be an update but Chyos just posted to say that it won't be done today. No ETA yet. Will there be an update today?
"Valuable's"?I have two questions.
I stole the valuables of the queen, but the quest do not go further.
Where is the treasure: near the field east of arenfield?
This sounds like a neat idea but one major problem I can already foresee is the MC moving so fast across the screen that it's difficult to actually control him or to get him in a specific location.I wish that dexterity would decrease the time you take moving from location to location. Fast Travel is useless already, since walking everywhere is faster than "fast" traveling. The trip to Gavina's house taking 1 hour everytime should have a way to reduce it.
| Dexterity Level Range | In-Game Time Spent Fast-Traveling |
|---|---|
0 - 4 | 1 hour |
5 - 9 | 45 minutes |
10 - 14 | 30 minutes |
15 - 19 | 15 minutes |
20+ | 10 minutes |
I agree with this and I do not suggest that MC should actually be faster while moving. This sounds like a neat idea but one major problem I can already foresee is the MC moving so fast across the screen that it's difficult to actually control him or to get him in a specific location.
I've actually encountered this exact problem in another RPGM game.
Suggestion no2 is actually what I meant when I wanted dex to affect travel time, though with different scaling. Each 2nd point in dex should lower fast travel time by a percentage. -2% -4%-6%-8%-10% and then -8%-6%-4%-2% to represent diminishing returns which gives 30%at 10 and 50 at 19. 20 points can go to -12% to represent mastery. Also, while I completely agree with your conclusions about Fast Travel, it should be noted that it's probably called "Fast Travel" because the real-life time spent going from one destination to another is shorter/faster when using "Fast Travel," than when actually moving the MC across the map.
Anyway, as an alternative to your suggestion, I propose 2 new ideas inspired by your post:
- That the MC is able to learn a new skill called "sprint" whose mechanics are similar to those of the "sneak" skill: (a) the skill has to be manually activated by the player, (b) after activating the skill, the player has a limited amount of time before the skill forcibly deactivates, and (c) the skill has a cool-down time that must pass before the user can activate it again.
- When the "sprint" skill is activated, the MC moves at normal speed but everything around him and the top-right clock move at half-speed. Or even 1/3rd speed if the MC's dexterity is very high (lvl 18+).
- Currently, for every second that passes in real-life, a minute passes in-game. While the "sprint" skill is activated, now an in-game minute would pass for every 2 or 3 real-life seconds. Now everyone and everything around the MC moves slowly, while he moves normally. Sort of like "Clark-Time" from the show Smallville, if you've ever seen it -
You must be registered to see the links.- Finally, while higher dexterity could increase the skill's use-time, higher constitution could decrease the cool-down time. The reasoning behind this being that higher dexterity means that the MC could move faster and therefore travel greater distances, while higher constitution means that the MC needs less time to catch his breath and recover after sprinting.
- That higher dexterity lead to less in-game time passing whenever you use fast travel (Going to and from Gavina/Bianca's house included). The table below demonstrates how this would more-or-less work:
Dexterity Level Range In-Game Time Spent Fast-Traveling 0 - 4 1 hour 5 - 9 45 minutes 10 - 14 30 minutes 15 - 19 15 minutes 20+ 10 minutes
Sounds reasonable.Suggestion no2 is actually what I meant when I wanted dex to affect travel time, though with different scaling. I know you probably didn't mean it like that but it still has to be said: Even without these newly proposed benefits, it's still very much worth it to invest in the dexterity skill up to and even past level 10.I think a 30% fast travel time reduction at 10 will make it worth to invest in dex up to that point
exit Arenfield on the north side, you find the path through the trees to the left of the streamHow do you find the hidden path in the forest?
It's never worked for me with Emily and Giron. Can other men impregnate the girls?
Blame it on the voters. Polls decide which questline/character gets updated most of the time.i've been somewhat of a fan for the longest time of this game but there are particular quests i've been waiting to see updated for i forget how long because its ben that long and those are...the werewolf one. which it has gone forward a bit but not done yet i think. and the other which is more important imho...the mf'n princess one.....that thing has been sitting idle for too damn long and its kind of starting to get frustrating that its been on the wayside for as long as its been. i mean hell....bad enough the way you left it at that cliffhanger but you've left it at that cliffhanger for too damn long.
To add to what WindDX said, Sophie just hasn't been a popular choice among subscribers. Yes, I want to see Sophie's update, but there are many other updates I would rather see first. Most other subscribers have wanted the same.i've been somewhat of a fan for the longest time of this game but there are particular quests i've been waiting to see updated for i forget how long because its ben that long and those are...the werewolf one. which it has gone forward a bit but not done yet i think. and the other which is more important imho...the mf'n princess one.....that thing has been sitting idle for too damn long and its kind of starting to get frustrating that its been on the wayside for as long as its been. i mean hell....bad enough the way you left it at that cliffhanger but you've left it at that cliffhanger for too damn long.
I think you need Athia for that. Refer to this post here.I forgot how to get the christmas tree decorate for the MC's house
I just did it the other day, I only found one spot where it grew, after I cut down the first one that I used for my house (Helena and Yasmine's dresses weren't ready) it respawned three days later and I was able to use it for Helena's Winterhowl.I forgot how to get the christmas tree decorate for the MC's house
It has a chance to spawn on a few maps when they reset(every 3 days I think). And I am pretty sure it can spawn on every map that has trees to cut. You just need to get lucky. You can also wait for reset, and save scum before entering an area with trees till you get one.I just did it the other day, I only found one spot where it grew, after I cut down the first one that I used for my house (Helena and Yasmine's dresses weren't ready) it respawned three days later and I was able to use it for Helena's Winterhowl.
But I hadn't taken a screenshot, both of the other two times it spawned east of Corvin's tent, SE of Rumah.
Here it was just south of Darkholt, east of the Temple Ruins.
When you cut it down it asks you if you want to save it, or if you need the wood. Since I already saved and used two, it didn't give me the option this time around.
