I have done both, I don't know of any bugs regarding either that have ever existed. Be more specific.
I remember chyos talking about it on his discord, advicing not doing any of those things. If you could do it, it means those bugs are already fixed

A Challenging Week, but Not a Lost One
Good afternoon,
I had imagined this week to go a bit differently, but unfortunately things don’t always go as planned and you just have to make the best of it.
I already mentioned on Discord earlier this week that I caught a cold, which quickly turned into a fever. On Wednesday I was basically out the entire day, and only today I’m finally feeling noticeably better. Because of that, I wasn’t able to work nearly as much as I had planned and focused on tasks that I could still do without much thinking.
On one hand, I worked on a few more animations, and on the other hand I started setting up walking routes for NPCs in Kirlic, so they move through the streets and bring a bit more life into the city. I also added the first interaction points in the form of market stalls. Since I’m feeling better today, I also continued writing the story and expanded the quest with a few additional steps. However, I still haven’t reached the part where the player is brought to Kirlic by Bjorn.
Even though this is better than nothing, it’s still nowhere near what I wanted to achieve this week. But since I usually get knocked out by a fever once a year around this time, I’m hoping that this means I’m done with it for the rest of the year. There isn’t much time left before Christmas, and there’s still a lot I want to finish. I plan to work late into the night today to make up some lost time, and next week I’ll tackle the missing parts with renewed energy, exactly as I had intended for this week.
I hope for your understanding, and I’ll do my best not to disappoint your trust. The next weekly report will hopefully be more positive, I’d much rather talk about final goals for this update than about lost working time. I hope that will be the case next Friday.

And it will include Kirlic, so whose story progression we are seeing this update?

The update was voted on by this description: "Kirlic - All roads lead to Kirlic... a new village to which you can travel. I will add new npcs and first interaction with them. Alongside that I will add new scenes for some of the current characters and also content for one of the new characters. (Many character storylines depend on this update) "

It will be the standard v0.x.x.5 release. The description entails the entirety of v0.6.2.0. This will just be v0.6.1.5 towards that later goal.

Wonder if Kirlic will have named NPCs or if we'll get nameless mobs like the workers in Coldstone or the monks at the Monastery. I'm all for more women because more content, but I'd prefer we focus on what we already have rather than spread the focus even more. At least Kirlic will hopefully lead to progress for quite a few routes (plus MC horse-riding is cool as hell lmao). Kate and Claire is in Kirlic. Sabrina is in Kirlic. Melissa, Liandra and maybe Ophilia too. So many roads lead to Kirlic. It's about time we begin taking over a second town lol.

Also we will be seeing new women in each town/city/war camps/etc. We even know that Anya's mother is in frontlines camp but from Van side, have to climb around ravine and what not to get there from southside of Arenfield. So more women are coming in the story as far as Chyos goes. I mean alone have Arenfield town itself(23 (+ 1 sophie no idea if she goes to camp or arenfield) alone including the demon under the church if you capture her again), our own camp(2), Rumah(6 including orcs), goblin base/palace (3), Monastery (3), Witch's hut (2), Bjorn's Inn (1).
So expect more than Arenfield's number in Kirlic location, surrounding locations added should increase it. Because the university there will potentially give Chyos so many potential students he can put across the nation there who came to study and even across the border towards Van's side of the nation and other places, look at Anya and Heather for instance. I can give you few guesses of new characters already apart from university yielding us few if not more. Verena's sister is in Kirlic, Baron's home servants might give you one, the people handling military branch family might give 1 because the person who gave the explosive letter to Ophillia came from noble but almost bankrupt family (most likely related to cult stuff). 2-3 from working families since it's supposed to be a larger place than Arenfield so people living there should be more. Oh and there is Church there as well, maybe another female demon underneath it or more priestesses there.
I say almost same or more number of LI Chyos will generate in Kirlic but not right away but slowly over time. If he sticks in similar idea as the rest of the game so far have been.

Not yet. Just a preview I saw of MC going to, I assume, Kirlic on horseback. I think it'll be just for a cutscene but I still think it's cool lol. As for everything else? Yeah, I agree. Kirlic's supposed to be far bigger than Arenfield, with the University included so there's bound to be a truckload of content, both quest related and sex related. Just Kirlic alone will push things up and expand by a lot in terms of women. Then there's the ones we haven't interacted or even met with yet. Sophie. Verena's sister. Uma's mother. The goblin princesses. Anya's mom. The elves, for when Imawyn and Gwen's content is finally continued. The Raven's lover, Nightingale I think was her name, that turns out is Yasmine's sister. Penny's sister (hell, maybe even her mom idk). There's also the other goddess, Alaira, who we'll undoubtedly bang one day too lmao. Quite a large amount of ladies still to come (and cum) lol. Not even including added content for the ones we already have.
