RPGM A Struggle with Sin [v0.6.1.6] [Chyos]

Mira's probably one considering how she powered up. I also kinda want to say Arianna maybe. The goblin girl could be one too. Maybe Sabrina for another mage. I'm surprised Imawyn isn't one too but maybe once the Elf Arc arrives she will be since we know she can fight and has magic. Aside from Mira, who I think is confirmed, we can really only theorize on the others. It really just depends on Chyos.

Unless I'm massively misremembering Mira and Ronya will be the only companion additions in the future.
Just like it happened with Bianca, events, story and scenes have to be tracked back and built from the ground up with any and every addition so the work involved with adding more may be too much, to the point of impossibility (mercenary camp fire scenes being an example of one) to justify the trouble.

Not necessarily trouble imo. Whenever a character gets voted, they get focused on so if say it's Mira's update then she can easily have her update be focused on adding her into the battle system, giving her the travel scenes, etc. Imawyn, for instance, already has mercenary camp scenes so nothing to work on there. It could also just... give out some random excuse like "Hey, I don't really wanna go to your merc camp so I'll wait elsewhere" and they leave the party while you're there. Problem solved and there's no need to build up new scenes for them. There could easily be more party members aside from Mira being the only "confirmed" one since it very much isn't "to the point of impossibility" given content is added, reworked and built upon pretty much each update. I'm not saying it WILL happen or that we should have an entire battle harem to go to war with but it isn't too far off to imagine there'll be more joining actual battle than just the ones we already have since quite a few other characters show the potential to be party members.

Imawyn's update doesn't mention becoming a companion. Where Mira's does. In fact out of the eight future updates we know about Mira's is the only one that mentions becoming a companion. I think the evidence points at only a couple more companions, and Mira is the only one of these eight to likely become one.

Here is what we know about each current update possibility / poll entry, Tia is towards the middle:


Sophie: Depending on your previous decision, Sophie will face corresponding problems. Will you sell her out to the orcs to help win the war for her father? Have you made sure she is with Hekima and his men or did you warn her so that she ran off alone? It is for you to decide how her story continues.

Julia: The marriage, after gaining Giron's trust you can finally marry Julia and let her move into your house. (Double marriage should Liandra be together with Dave) + new content for Yasmine when she visits her stepdaughter at your house. Another goal for this update is to add small repeatable task quests through which the MC can gain Giron's trust (In case you didn't get it already) and to make leveling up easier. For this the bulletin board infront of the inn will finally be integrated with tasks that the MC can work on. The goal is to rework the whole reputation system with this update and also add rewards to it.

Umah: It is time to end the conflict with the orcs, either by force or diplomacy. Umah has the key role in this and so has her mother. Can the orcs accept a human to become their chieftain? (This will also affect Sophie's story, who is to become the chieftains bride)

Imawyn: After all that has happened Imawyn wants to return to her kin in hope of reuniting with her father. The elves live hidden behind a veil of magic and only she can open the path for you. In the coming conflict the elves can become useful allies or deadly enemies. This as always will depend on your choices.

Tia: Now that her desire for revenge has finally been satisfied, it's time to look to the future and her wish to have children can finally be fulfilled. It has been a while since Rumah has had offspring, the community has yet to adjust to this new situation.

Anya: Her mother Haying is still a prisoner in Van's camp. (Depending on route so is Anya herself) It's time to sneak into the camp and free her. Or do you even need to sneak in? Maybe it's time to meet the prince and seal a deal with him. (Adding Haying as loveinterest + making her move into Anya's house which will also involve some renovation on it).

Mira: After your return back home from the monastery Mira acts strange. Whatever happened to her during the ritual has changed her (Depending on choices). A return to the monastery in search of answers seems to be the best solution. In doing so, you advance into the catacombs beneath the monastery. (Expansion of the monastery with further interaction and revision of previous interactions. New content for the nuns and the possibility of taking Mira with you in your group).

Frisha: It’s time for Frisha to finally get married. Depending on the route, that might not just be the MC’s intention but also Giron’s (he couldn't have Emily, now he wants her daughter). The focus here will be on deciding the future of Arenfield and who will be in charge moving forward. (How far this will go will depend on previous updates)

Hm. Fair enough then. I'm still of the mind that it COULD happen but to be honest it's really no big deal if it doesn't. MC can pretty much solo everything after a certain point.

Can't wait for the option to breed Tia and rest of the Rumah LIs. Though Frisha being the best girl, she deserves to become MC's wife and mother to many babies.

Sorry I just went and tried to look back since I wasn't sure and you were right about Imawyn (and now I really am not sure if I just mistook her as the one who's planned as a companion member in the future instead of Ronya (since they'll both be part of the mercenary camp) or if both are).

...I just wonder was Imawyn intended to work as a party member? Or is that something that's still in the works to coincide with her story?...

I was also doubting myself about Ronya in the first place since we already have a thief with Bianca.

As for the trouble, it will as usual be up to Chyos to balance his work and whatever he feels needs adding+whatever the fans ask for. (Not that I don't enjoy speculating mind you lol)

Yeah i'd see Sabrina becoming a full time party member before Ronya. And if a new party member hasn't been cancelled isn't Sabrina, the MC probably hasn't met them yet.
