That's the issue then, you need to be on the ntr path. There's a difference between having ntr on (game setting) and being in a character's ntr path.
I don't have the save file anymore since I don't really play that path, but what you'll need to do is change her ntr variable to 1 (or 2 - think I used 1 tho) and put the love path at 0. Then it's a question of spamming hide and seek until it happens (don't bother going to the log, it's not there that he spawns).
You can also try changing the werewolf location in the save editor or cheat engine to 2, I recommend using the one in my signature since you can change variables on the fly while the game is running.

So, it's been a year or two since I last touched this game. Is it still pretty grindy in terms of starting up, and is this one of those games where if I don't do one thing on like day 2 or something then I am completely cut off from progressing that girls storyline? Or is there leeway in which girls I progress at any given time so I can balance stat/level growth with story mode progress?

Early on there is grind, it's the "hardest" part of the game since you have nothing, but after that it's pretty easy. If you don't like grinding, you can also use the in-game cheats or a save editor/cheat engine.
The game let's you pursue whatever girls you want freely, with the exception of some girls that need you to progress either another girls route or a story event...
Someone else can correct me here if I am wrong but off the top of my head I can only remember 1 girl that has a time sensitive quest that can "screw" you over, penny, but even here it's only after you have progressed a certain amount of time with her route, the game is large, and I definitely recommend using the online walkthrough in the OP though since it's not always obvious what you need to do to progress with a LI.

I figured it out, and oddly you report the post.

I also can't think of any wrong steps that cut you off from scene routes. Even with Penny, I don't see one. With her I like to get to have the lube from Tia before Henry comes back so that I can put it in her butt with Henry there. But even if you don't I have never not been able to kick Henry out. But if you don't talk to her in the field in the day, after she asks you to, Henry won't arrive until you do talk to Penny in the field.
A lot of the time related things can be ignored. But you have to know the game to know where to ignore it. If Mira is ready to go into the initiation, don't go into the church in the day, she will keep coming home at 16:00 until you go into the church. (And I think it has to be in the morning). This gives you as much time as you want to complete "A key to her heart."
With Imawyn, once I save Emily, I don't sleep in Emily's storage room, only talk to Lyvia to get the disguise. I then corrupt Imawyn up to max and have never had Lyvia go get here on her own. After arresting Ima, I get her affection to max before saving Lyvia. (Though even at Max, Ima needs attention in the camp before she will help with the party. Annoyed that I can't get around that.)
If Giron sends for me, I ignore it until I am ready, never had a problem waiting too long.
I actually don't know of any event that triggers a time period event, that can't be ignored until you want to trigger the event. Problem is guides aren't written regarding the advantages of the why you might want to ignore them.

But even if I didn't ignore those timers, I don't lose anything, I only do it to make it easier to advance the LI routes.
Am I meant to complete the defending rumah quest first or the Impressing Katherin/Tia quests first? Seems like they are connected with Tia's dad involved and I don't want to miss anything by doing the wrong quest first

There are two different ones. Not sure if you have to trigger one before the other, but if you do, Emily's bed is the older one, so the one you should start with. Basically you got to corrupt them a lot.
In Emily's bed, you will start getting the option to make Emily cum. Do that until it doesn't offer that choice any more (like twice), Frisha will then sneak in after you go to sleep. Change speed and position until Emily wakes up. If Emily doesn't wake up, she isn't corrupted enough.
In Frisha's bed, make sure you have fucked her in the ass enough to get her wearing the better dress. Fuck her before bed enough days until she asks for a second round. That second round will bring Emily into the room. That's all that is needed for that.

You won't, they do intersect, but nothing cuts you off from anything in either quest line (or scenes).

That's what I mean by you having to progress in her route before it becomes time sensitive, I've never had it happen to me, but if you ignore her after Henry arrives, eventually he will get better and you could end up missing the convo between him and giron. It would take a looot of days, but yeah it can happen.

I just looked and I only have 6 anal for her, one for Emily.
Both have 26 corruption.
I got the threesome in Frisha's room just now from regular sex (at 10 pm), then she asked for a second round.

Make sure she has the sluttier white dress, the walkthrough gives specifics.
And you really may need to trigger the one in Emily's bed first. That one is around a year old, maybe older. The one in Frisha's room I only discovered about a month ago, I don't know when it was added.
