Hi, I was thinking of starting over, do you guys recommend waiting for V0.6.2.0, since it seems some stuff from early game seems to be changing?

Any of the stuff that changes early game is just polish and QOL improvements. The only thing I noticed with v0.6.1.5 was starting to work for Claire took one less step.

I think they are all minor enough that waiting for the next update isn't worth it. Especially since that could mean you are always waiting for the next update. This update isn't reworking early game anymore than anything else.

(Getting to Kirlic on your own does bypass having to complete Kate up to the point, but you still have to have a work bench in your house, and the ability to get your sewing up to 30. Getting it to 30 pretty requires access to the deep mine and Melissa's treasure quests.)

You need to use the crafting station and make armor, i leveled up by making leather armor
You only got it to 20 by doing leather stuff. It caps at 20.

To get it from 20 to 30 you need to craft high quality items you can only make from materials you get from Melissa's treasures and the deep mine.

Edit: Nisano, I apologize I just realized you were only talking about the Cult Robe, which can be done by less than 20 sewing skill.

I just do not understand why Chyos put this quest to start to close in the early stages of the game since you can not survive in deep mine because if i recall correctly the goblins there is lv 45 unless you can use cheat to level up or let the mission on hold.

Because you aren't supposed to get to Kirlic early on, but you are supposed to know that getting there is an important aspect of the journey.

The last two (if not more, I don't remember quests in Skyward Sword) Legend of Zelda's have rescue the princess / defeat Ganon(dorf) quests from pretty much the very beginning but you are dozens and dozens of hours away from being able to accomplish those quests.

Has anyone been able to get all nine unique/special treasures from Melissa's treasure maps after getting duplicates?

In my game, I've gotten 2x Uldar's Might swords, 2x Aldric's Pauldrons, 2x Eye of Alaira amulets, 2x Gromthul's Betrayal daggers, and 1x Silurim's Judgement axe.

This makes 9 special items in total, where 4 of them are duplicates.

Now my MC is stating that he's finding nothing special in the chests anymore and that he must have found all the special treasures available.

Is it possible for my MC to find the remaining 4 special treasures: Isha's Tear bow, Gritwail sword, Hide of an Ogre, and Calan's Mantling?

Just want to know if I should stop wasting time on the Melissa's Treasure Maps and if I should report this issue to Chyos.

thank you for bringing this to my attention. I'll have a look at the code and figure out how to fix this.

I could be on the corruption route. I followed the guide's steps on how to proceed, and I got stuck at this part when I have the letter from Saiel, the one in the green robe,
but at the bottom it says
(On Vilina's next visit, you can now show her the letter and demand her help. You now also have the choice to not have any sexual interaction with her at all. )

But that part doesn't come up for me. Instead, it looks like it's the last scene, or do I need to have more power in the cult? Could you help me, please?

  1. Back in Darkholt invite Vilina via your desk. In the following scene you now have to decide which route you want to go with Vilina. The corruption route is only available if you progressed through Penny's story up to the point where you discovered Elisabeth's secret.
    • For the love route just follow along with Vilina's wishes.
    • For the corruption route tell her that you're tired. After she leaves talk to Saiel outside to get a letter from him.
  2. On Vilina's next visit you can now show her the letter and demand her help. You now also have the choice to not have any sexual interaction with her at all.

I'm confused about how to take down the two bandits that come to steal from Emily's house and her. The main character calls it off and lets her get kidnapped, and only takes down one of them.

That's the only way, you have to rescue Emily to advance her quests.

MC didn't call it off, he fights one, while he is fighting that one, the other one sneaks off with Emily. Yes, you could have beaten the other bandit, but he ran off with Emily while you were preoccupied with the other one.

Sorry but it's it's not entirely true that you need Melissa's quest to get to 30 sewing I say this because I replay the game from scratch, about 2 weeks ago more or less. I can tell you that I'm at 30 sewing without having done Melissa's quest.
But you're still right when you say that high-end things are needed. What do I mean by high-end stuff?*
These are the gears I created to get to 30 sewing:
1) Leather equipment (Deer Hide, Rabbit fur, Wolf Pelt, Yarn)
2) Sturdy equipment (need Deer Hide, Wolf Pelt, Rabbit fur, Bronze Bar, Yarn)
3)* Rouge equipment (Deer Hide, Rabbit fur, Leather Strap) <---- This is the only armor set that's tough enough to get, as you have to be pretty high level to take on the cutthroats. But if you manage to defeat them and find a bag from them, with a save and several reloads, sooner or later that bag will give you the plans for the armor.

If you forge these three armors, you get to 30 sewing, without doing Melissa quest. I'm saying this because I still have to do Melissa's quest.

P.S
Anyway if he only needs 20 points, he doesn't even have to get to rouge armor :ROFLMAO:

Hi, sorry to ask. Since I'm supposed to start Melissa's quest soon, I was wondering if I save before finding each treasure, do you think it's possible to get all the special items? I mean, if I search for the first treasure, I get the first treasure. On the second map, I save, search for the treasure, and if the treasure is the same, I reload the game and try again. Do you think this way I can avoid finding duplicates before finding them all? I'm just asking to understand, since I've never done Melissa's quest so far and I still don't know how it all works.

Thank you

I always find the nine relics without any duplicates, I didn't even know you could get duplicates. Is this something that happened to you on the latest versions (specially since the dev answer you) or was it always the case for you?

You read too much into stuff. I don't dispute anything you said. Your dispute of mine wasn't worth the time.

For gods sakes, I didn't say you have to complete Melissa's treasures anyways, I said "high quality items you can only make from materials you get from Melissa's treasures and the deep mine", which is fucking true. You can get those materials from Melissa's treasures, but you don't fucking have to.

The question of how to get to sewing 30 has been asked countless times. I have no interest in typing a detailed description of how to raise it to 30 every time.

I likely won't stop mentioning Melissa's treasures in one sentence responses to that question.
