just my 2 cents, but trying to add many fetishes to attract more players doesn't always work, there are some that don't mix well, i guess it is what it is. (it was good while it lasted)

Dev if you can it would be good if you add in the OP in the "Genre Spoiler" section the future tags that you plan to add, that way future players don't get another surprise

Since there was never NTR in the game, I suggest you make NTR an option that is disabled by default and ask if new players want to enable it. When loading old saves without the ntr switch variable, the game should asked if players want to enable ntr or not.

This is better than a skip button because the NTR haters wouldn't have to know NTR could have existed in certain scenario.
If you can manage to let the haters avoid NTR properly, usually there wouldn't be too many aggression towards the game.

Most importantly, add sth like "NTR can be toggled off" in the game description to the first post so people don't have to ask if ntr is avoidable.

Because I can see the people hating netorare, but if it's netori they will much like welcome it(seen has the ex gf is around and also to take revenge of the guy who bullied mc).

That's quite possible.

Since all netorare in the game is 4 events in Cherrie's story, we can make it disabled without much work.
I think that's probably what we are going to do with the next update.

Everyone knows that Cherrie has been active in her sex life and all those events are just past in the story.
I didn't even realize that those would be considered NTR to be honest...

Our team consist of 3 people but 2 of us (including me) do most of work. I do the most of the writing since I'm more fluent in English but as a female it's sometimes hard to know how users would take some of the contents at times. (I'm still learning I guess) Like this time, I never knew people would hate it this much even though one of my kind patron warned me about it with some explanation. I do ask my partners (males) about the story quite often but they're pretty new to adult game so it'd be the best to ask around as much as I can.

I've mentioned earlier to Hakkira in this thread a few days (or week?) ago that the story is planned to have much netori in it
while Netoro that is planned in the game will only be optional.

Like - you choose one of the girls to sacrifice (get her to have sex with someone) in order to achieve your success in business or
youi choose to sacrifice none of them and solve the problem yourself.

And this NTR part isn't really decided to be put into game yet, but netori, a lot of contents are set to have them (like alumni's neighbors for example) so it would be quite a good news for me if people take netori well....

No past flashback scenes are not considered ntr, but for people that do not like ntr they are still somewhat problematic, most people that do not enjoy ntr are not interested in watching scenes without the mc and we are ofc. only talking about netorare, netori there is no issue with, but netori is not under the ntr tag on this site that would be the cheating tag.

It's a relief that netori wouldn't have much problem with people since that's one of the planned contents unlike netorare.

And, yeah. I'll keep it in mind that scenes without MC is pretty much no no to many people who likes harem genre.

People have experiences and pasts, I'm just saying that if a backstory of a certain character having sexual intercourse or relationship is relevant to the story that is being made then it shouldn't be even be considered or tagged as NTR because the MC hasn't even met her/him yet. Full Disclaimer: I have not played the game, but was interested in it reading the tags. The discussion here made me decide against playing it.

I usually refrain from casting aspersions or pushing my strong opinions on others. but these conversations are too frequent and too annoying!

All I would like to say is I am always disappointed when I see developers apologizing for a story decision they make. Its YOUR game, and YOUR story to tell. You will never create something that everyone likes. Overhauling a story/game to please some people is questioning and denigrating your own creativity. You put in the hard work. Most of the people causing the brouhaha cannot put together a convincing powerpoint, much less develop a game.

If you fix the gameplay or graphics or something else, that's understandable, but as the creator of a story, you should stand by your decisions.

It's one of my favorite city lol.

1) Not much really, just some past flashback scenes in the early phase of the game. They are intended to function as some trigger to change MC from a weak-willed dude into a alpha-male.

2) In the future, maybe. The path would only be by choice since the game's mainly harem genre including some netori (cheating).

If you fix the gameplay or graphics or something else, that's understandable, but as the creator of a story, you should stand by your decisions.

This, above anything else Mymy. Make the game YOU want to make. The only thing to really remember is to include the tags so that people who dislike something you've included, don't get their feels hurt.

Personally, there is very little that drives me away from a game wholesale. Futa would be the top of my list, but there are others. The arguments about NTR will drive me away from the thread, but not necessarily the game.
