It's really easy to take money from idiots, isn't it? I think I'll become a developer and do what some people do: release a game, make some crappy and useless remakes, and keep farming money How does a guy like that have a Patreon member?

that would mean him actually updating the game more than 2 times. honestly, some devs can get away with a few updates a year based on the quality and the time each update adds. this guy just took Reluctant Archon, changed a few things, and released it

Except they're actually very different. Both involve someone from a long line of mages running a club and the similarity pretty much ends there. The actual plots aren't even close to each other.
both have powerful but emotionally stunted mc, both have random girls becoming LIs, both involve mc running a club/bar of some kind, both involve magical creatures using some type of item to hide their appearance, both have bastards for fathers and emotionally closed off siblings. I fail to see a difference between either game apart from this one not being abandoned yet
