Some devs do an early remake because they actually had something that needed changed. Some do it simply because they have no idea how to progress the game.

Ugh, just a remake.
Would you say the devs did it because they didn’t know how to progress the game, or did the game actually need it?
Personally, I don’t think it needed one.
But please add more wait time devs I'll be dead before this gets to chapter 3
it's roughly 2 years old and being remade now. Can that be called early?

it depends on story progression, and far as i know this wasn't that deep into its story psure there was an entire year without updates lol, thats why people refer to it as an early remake. Game could be 5 years old and have a 6 month update schedule, and the updates are only like 10-15 mins long or just way off kilter of the main storyline, so would say its more of a development progression thing than a length of time since release thing.
Unless ofc a totally massive engine or overhaul drops, then i guess its somewhat reasonable, but that would still be like.... within first year maybe, otherwise just play it out.

this "remake" is so half assed i am actually impressed. i don't think any of the previous typos have been fixed. incorrect dialogue name labels are still there, they also sometimes just disappear. it is also worth mentioning that the amount of content there is after nearly 2 years of development is laughable. sadly i think this will share the same faith as the devs previous games.
I started playing, and it reminded me of the old abandoned game Reluctant Archon, a similar concept with mythical creatures, an orc guard, a policewoman girlfriend. And the main character is the owner of the club.^^

Remake I didn't see any difference. Why remake something that hasn't done anything hasn't moved. I thought remakes were of complete things.

so you can SOUND like you're doing something and not have abandoned your project at the end of the prologue. Because then you can get a bit more money out of doing nothing at all!
