News everyone, take it as you will.
Hey guys, update time.
It's about a week till the 7-day early access so I guess it's time to talk about what's been done and what still needs to be done.
The new writer (whom I've yet to introduce and will do so at a later date) and I have been discussing where we want to go with the main story. As you may know, it dwells around the idea of a parallel universe and alternate dimension dopplegangers. We've brain stormed as much as we can and pieced together a lot of the story arch but it is still very much a work in progress. I can't even really properly make the progression chart for the main story yet but as an estimate, we're about 1/3 there for the writing.
If you're a $5+ Patron, you've noticed that I've posted a lot of open-ended polls for character designs. There are still more to come and I hope to get most if not all done. Besides the few that I may add in the future if it is needed. There are 8 new students, 6 females and 2 males. The parents of Jacob and Effie, and some others that I will in secret for now. A load of art asset was needed and is still needed for this update and bringing another writer on board really helped clear up the time to make it happen.
I also want to note that this update will feel like an outlier in terms of story progression because of how much time was spent on the new characters, but in future updates, the focus can go back to the actual story. If I hadn't spent the time on the new characters, there would obviously be more focus on story length. Don't worry though, there is a decent amount of chapters done. I wanted to get the new characters in the game so that I can run a poll on which character's story line you perverts want us to work on next. Jane's story is essentially 1-2 updates away from completion and Miss Allaway's is about 2-4 updates away, more or less.
Coding is just coding, just grinding out the lines and copy pasting like a madman.
