Probably for the exact same reason SCP-1471 and an Arcanine are, they're popular 3d models for furry art. I would expect a lot of characters in the future are also probably going to have models from different things from popular modelers like valorlynz (who made the Aak model) or dogzeela (who made Krystal's model).
