Alright so the premise of this game is ridiculous, the MCs were carrying a vast amount of money with themselves which get stolen... this is the 21st century... no one does that, you have checks and bank transfers, unless you intend to do something illegal no one would be carrying a massive amount of money on themselves. Hell its rare people just pay for their house, they get mortgage typically more often then not and again everything is dealt with via bank transfers, Hell nowadays even if its illegal its likely to be with Bitcoins on some other non cash currency which someone could fit in on a usb drive in their pocket.
Next, how the Hell did the bad guys were stopped by a simple door? Really? So you lock the door and the game end but if you don't it make all the difference they get in and steal it, what about the wife? They knew she was there, but couldn't expect she wouldn't be in the way, everything is ridiculous. For a Dev that argued about making a believable character development, the story is utterly unbelievable, if the Dev wanted a scam to steal from the MC their was far more realistic and believable alternatives than some senseless plot device.
