For me the best way to learn is with Trial and error...Download Daz which is free watch a tutorial on the navigation or the UI then start clicking things which will pop up many questions google them.......thats really how my learning process works
dont be afraid to experiment and the more mistake you make the better because those are the memories that really tend's too last longer...yes photoshop can be a game changer and as alley_cat pointed out there's always the F95 Programming,Dev and Art forum's if you are really having trouble's.
And not only is Daz free, but here we have access to free copies of many assets, which makes experimenting rather easy. It'd probably be easiest to start small, say with just Sophia (
