Yes, Sophia has been 'lost' ever since Lord Shayne offered to help her; and as you know she has been preparing for the battle that is on the horizon. Unfortunately, poor Liam is a little late to the party. He is just now beginning to understand the ramifications for the circumstances that has brought him to where he is now.

Thank you for your very kind words. The first chapter of this effort was to prepare the audience for a journey that the Parkers will begin to undertake now. This interlude was intended to connect chapters one and two. In addition, it also was meant to provide a little insight into Carl who has to this point been all talk and no walk.
P.S. I effort to keep within the themes of the various games that I draw from in this crossover story. Manila Shaw walks around in her skimpy party-cop outfit and...voila! There is a .44 Magnum in her hand when she needs it. I think they hide their guns in their bras.
