Am I right in thinking that the two scenes created and rendered so far are locations where L&P has already created the environments, whereas the next two scenes, the beach / rock / country / biker / truck bar, and Andy and Cathy's house are new environments? Hopefully one of our local Daz experts can confirm that?

So whilst I am glad that so far the creating and rendering speed appears to be faster than last update, there is still at least a possibility of some slippages (depending on whether either of these two scenes might elongate).

Correct. I've been unable so far to even find the asset for where the latest teaser comes from. I had initially thought it was the same asset as the parking lot for the Yoga event, but it doesn't look like it.

Theoretically, Cathy and Andy's apartment could be in the same block as Alyssa's, which would mean he could use the off-the-shelf asset for that event

Yes - hopefully we will have a few renders of the actual concert with audience, and then can concentrate on the hopefully more intimate scenes between Sophia and Sam.

And it is so easy for him to solve. It could easily be part of his realism. Time jumps, no problem. Advance a day, or weeks, or a month not an issue for the audience if he uses it to help his realism. Forget the morning, afternoon and evening series of events. Why not one event a day. As many have discussed, be event based in the releases but, make the event a PD. Once again, simplifying the control of the corruption by making the time frame more believable. Spend time with just Sophia as she works through her dilemmas. The current day has the side job, then Cathy, then Aiden, then the jogging, then Nathalie, then the concert, then back to Cathy. Is Sophia so ignorant of her self she tumbles down the corruption path within hours? Or is she making decisions and accepting consequences that she may not want but, has to accept to achieve certain results/goals. Does she take the time to think about it? Unlike the rationalizations, in a certain scene, that was horrible writing to say the least.

I am getting the impression she is a runaway train and no one is in the driver seat. Not reasonable for whom he presented to start. IMO

I sometimes wonder where & how she finds the time to fit everything into those very full days!

I have no idea what dealings everyone here has ever had with real, genuine, initiated bikers but I'm guessing some have had a lot more than me, some a lot less. I could say more but some would find what I recounted unbelievable & certainly I'm thinking about things that happened decades ago. Personally I feel I've said what I wanted to already. There's no way to know yet, who's behind the door, or for that matter, actual numbers, what mood they're in, how much alcohol they're going to consume & how they'll react to it. There are a lot of variables.

What I sense, however, at this present time, is not great. I have no idea either, what kind of venues the assembled company here has attended & how they found them. I'll just say that I have a strong sense of a certain someone & her sister being in a hell of a lot more trouble, potentially, than the majority of fans in this thread, based on previous discussions, would handle well, or find acceptable. What I am thinking & partially saying only applies if things proceed in a specific yet certainly entirely realistic way.

This whole subject is fundamental & complex in relation to corruption games & we have at least another 3 months++ before we need to focus on it. So long, in fact, that all the recent debate might well be forgotten.

Ultimately, as I've always said, we're only talking about pixel people.

I personally don't think anything is going to go down at this bar with regards defending yourself, where you'd have to sit with your back to the wall. Could something pop off, sure. That's always present where alcohol is served. I think it's going to be a good experience for all involved.
I also think some of the characters that we haven't seen in a while will start come back around, full circle.

Ooh, maybe Ivan gets a little fresh and Patricia goes off with the smart ass routine as Sam slides past to lead Sophia away before the fireworks and Patricia has half the bar wanting to protect her as Ivan realizes he forgot his green card while standing next to an off duty CBP guy. Then Patricia realizes Sophia has left and she runs outside to see the van shakin' and when she opens it up there are two Great Danes in their fighting over Scooby snacks. As she turns around she remembers them talking about the Cathy event so she starts down the road when she sees Sam's big ass Nova parked at the beach. As Patricia pulls up Sophia also pulls up and walks nonchalantly over to little sister for a ride to the party with Cathy.

Just a thought.

Instead, let her go straight to Cathy and Andy's apartment, a little drunk and dressed a little inappropriately; but not so much that it's a problem but enough to cause some tension. This game needs some stakes, and a slightly intoxicated and sexy Sophia could be the impetus for launching the next phase of the Cathy/Andy/Liam/Sophia storyline. If L&P's plan for Cathy and Andy is to make them potential LIs, and perhaps swingers, then let's start moving down that road. Let's not reset Sophia back to zero, sober and dressed conservatively, because that kills and momentum in the story. Let her show up at the apartment under the influence of whatever happens at the concert.

When I say "Under the influence of the events at the bar" I mean to included everything. Sophia will be under the influence of a, likely, very erotic encounter and that should carry over directly to the event at Andy and Cathy's. Bonus points if Sam drops her off at the apartment and they have a one on one encounter right there in the car. That would set the stage PERFECTLY for the event with Andy and Cathy because Sophia is primed already. If she goes home and changes, she loses a lot of that. Storywise we don't want to give her the opportunity to calm down, we want to keep momentum.

Moving forward, I do like the idea of time jumps and playable days with only one or two events all day. PD 12 is already shaping up to be a very busy day for Sophia, and if the tempo of the story continues to gain momentum then we're going to have some very crowded days. It may make more sense if future updates have events from multiple days with only one or two events on any given day. That could help with the sense of realism.

Wouldn't it be the opposite of crowded as we go further into the game. Since as time passes only the important routes stay the rest fade out.
As for the time jumps it will help the realism a bit but we still will have to wait 20 years for this to end. I would only care for this game to finish in less than 10 years. As we move forward the realism is going to start fading out completely. We all are aware that writing a REAL pov of a cheating wife is so elaborate that there is no way L&P could encompass it ( frankly 90% players wouldn't even want to see it and call it a waste ) while continuing to write other sexual interactions.

Eventually, as storylines converge or are completed, it could get less crowded. But I think that it's likely to get more crowded before it gets less. So if the first extramarital sex is on PD 19, I can see PDs 20, 21, and 22 getting really crazy. Maybe as we get towards the end, and the player's choices begin to restrict story options, then the days will become less crowded. However, that could lead to another problem. Once stories like Aiden's tasks are completed, there could be holes in the story where there is nothing planned. So, just a random example, there could be nothing planned for the noon and afternoon hours of PD 23 because the storylines that filled those hours have been concluded. So either L&P needs to fill those periods with content, which still keeps the days crowded. Or they remain empty and he skips over them- which would be a time jump in and of itself.

Either way, we're years away from anything like this happening. L&P is just trying to get his development cycles under control, and screwing around with time jumps right now would probably be a bad idea. This is probably one of those conversations that we should revisit in 5 years after the game's development has stabilized.

Note- it's worth keeping in mind that, once the sex starts it's going to need to keep going. Let's say L&P gets his development cycle down to 4 months. At some point, once Sophia is corrupted enough (or even on the Good Wife path) sex is going to become more common. I have a hard time seeing L&P spending 4 months on an update for PD 21 and NOT including sex. What that means is that each 1/3 update would include sex, potentially with a different partner each time. That's a lot of sex for one day, and if it continues then we're just going to be another porn game. Time jumps could help alleviate this problem by spreading updates across multiple PDs.

Anyways, this is a lot of theorizing for me. I try to stay away from this stuff and focus on the meta discussion about development.

I believe Cathy recommends Sophia and Liam plan to take a taxi home, so it stands to reason Cathy is planning on getting Sophia at least a little tipsy. Whether she has heard how frisky Sophia can get (presumably from Andy) after drinking and how much that is part of Cathy's plan is yet to be seen.

Personally I'm starting to look forward to the Cathy event, since it occurs to me it may be similar to the Patricia route in that it may get corrupting, but still harmless fun. As opposed to what it looks like the Dylan and Sam routes are turning into.

It's unlikely during the concert. But during the museum date and at the horse ranch, action is pretty certain, especially since Pat seems to like driving Sophia around.

I havn't expressed any angst about Sophia showing up at Cathy & Andy's place without a bra, although it would be very out of character on the particular path I play & adhere to as closely as choices will allow. It could move things on but the Liam in my game would do more than raise an eyebrow. What I do is look at Sophia in the romper & think firstly, if L&P hadn't made her so friggin' ridiculously huge to please his immature "Mom" stereotype fixated audience, (Sophia is now up there with Dod, Milfy City, The Visit, FotM, et al in the air-bag sweepstake), there wouldn't be as much of an issue & secondly, the romper is wrong on so many levels that I fail to understand how it is that people can't appreciate why.

On the other hand, if the game follows it's normal pattern, we all know that no real harm is about to befall Sophia. L&P will stick to his plan for the event. Why I'm so hacked off about it all has to do with the fact that with the advent of the romper & the massive lemons, some more of the last shreds of realism, for me anyway, are jettisoned. One of the main reasons I got so invested in this story was this very same veneer of realism that has, IMO, almost gone now. So, OK, "it's only a (porn) game" I hear the usual sarcastic voices saying & that's a good point. When something good goes downhill, however, there's disappointment. When you've spent 3+ years with one VN that morphs into every a clone of every other "Mom" porn game, that disappointment increases exponentially.

My silver lining is that as every element that I so much appreciated disappears, it will make saying goodbye to AWAM that much easier, when it becomes necessary. Let's face it, with the standard crawlpace of development as it is, none of us will see the end of this game but IMO, we could well see it's abandonment.

For example, you are in doubt, and I am sure that Sofia will not wear such outfits! Even playing sexual games with someone.

But the question is not what Sofia is wearing, whether she is wearing a bra or not! Whatever she does, no matter how she looks, these are important issues, but still secondary, in such situations, the context is important!
