This just shows what an utter moron Dylan is because Aiden is threatening him with violence for non compliance to his request, Dylan is not in a position to ask anything of Aiden because this is not a quid pro quo. Dylan trying to get something out of this should have surely resulted in him getting beaten up because Aiden has no reason to do what Dylan wants of him. Aiden holds all the cards here. It's stupid to think that Dylan could have put any conditions on this arrangement.

And that's the other thing, everything that has happened before this update, even all the incestuous stuff, has actually felt very realistic and reasonably paced, but then we get this utter bullshit, Ellie spills her guts about her and Julia completely out of the blue, Dylan goes full porn game perv for "reasons", and we have Sophia riding a sybian in the apartment of someone she's only met 3 or 4 times.

This is why I say this update totally jumped the shark because it undeniably did.

I hardly saw it as jumping the shark. Why wouldn't Ellie confide in her mom about Julia? She's already close to her mom and with the shower adventure it only makes sense she would tell her feelings about Julia. Also this happens after she witnesses her mom kissing her sister at the club so naturally she'd be curious of her mom's point of view while exploring her own feelings with Julia. As for Dylan again why is it so strange he'd want to peep on the ladies in the shower. His experiments with his mom have only increased his desire to finally see a naked woman and now he has the chance to see 4 at one time. It comes off as more of a learning experience for him than anything perverted. As for Sophia she has already established a good connection with Alyssa right from the first meeting with her which has only grown with each additional meet. And by this time has explored a lot of temptations in experimenting with other women. Couple this with her increased frustration with not getting any sex from her husband for weeks as well as Alyssa almost causing her to orgasm in the cafe, I don't see it as a stretch she'd experiment with the sybian given her heightened state of arousal by that time.

Aiden was the one holding the cards. Everything in that scene benefited Aiden. He even said that if he could get Sophia to wear a tight miniskirt in class it would be way better then the data he is seeking.

Yes Dylan should of known better it was a stupid thing to do.Also we don't know what type of data he wants but maybe it has something to do with the school,who knows.

That wasn't "confiding", that was an overly-blunt and far too sudden diatribe that would be too cheesy and cringey even for a romantic novel. The only reason for it was to get the admittedly hot scene with Julia, but even that felt way too soon and very out of place.

It's not even about Ellie's curiosity either, it was just about finding a really contrived way to include a steamy lesbian scene with Sophia but the whole thing is far too rushed. Ellie was supposed to take some time to think about things with Julia but now we find out they've done a lot in the last 3 days, so it clearly didn't that long, and somehow they've done so much that both she and Julia are comfortable being this open with Sophia? Nope, not buying it.

The whole justification for this, that Julia saw Sophia, is also bogus because Julia's back was to where Sophia was the whole time so there's no way she saw her. It was just a plot contrivance to force this scene.

As for Dylan again why is it so strange he'd want to peep on the ladies in the shower. The whole problem I have with this is that, up until now the game has felt reasonably well-grounded, even with the incest, blackmail, lesbian feelings, etc, and that has been one of its greatest strengths. But this revelation is a huge steaming pile of horsecrap that has totally obliterated that grounded feeling for me because there is absolutely no rationale for why Dylan should have ever thought that this was a good idea. This is a shit idea, not simply from Dylan, but from L&P who wrote the damn thing. They have sullied themselves with this horsecrap, piss-poor bit of writing, and it is shameful for someone as talented as them.
