I think people(my personal opinion) are focusing too much on the three apostles and not on the actual event itself.
L&P has said that the 2nd side job is one of his personal highlights of the game and he finds the topic "freaking hot" so I don't think that the three apostles will play a major part.

I was going to say this. This update, more than any other, seems to have gone off the rails in terms of adding content. If he's constantly adding content how can he possibly measure his overall progress? When L&P has released progress reports for previous updates I think it's always best to take it as an estimate until he gets close to the end and can more accurately measure his progress. But still, the updates are better than nothing. But with this update I think the progress reports have been less helpful than usual. It seems that, even at this late date, the update is still growing, so he probably can't consistently estimate his progress.

He originally said that a mid-May release was "at the latest", now it seems like mid-May could be the only reasonable expectation. A month ago I thought it was near impossible that this update would slip to June, but I'm not sure anymore.
