She's selective about what she likes & fortunately has been able to find some enjoyment, or liberation in the tasks. Animals in a circus are trained with whips, electric prods, chains & prohibition of any natural behaviour, along with the overall cruelty of keeping them captive in the first place. There's not much chance of seeing that level of BDSM in AWAM, I would guess & trust. It's not erotic. Sophia will survive. I've said many times that a good woman being coerced to do things against her nature can lead to the preservation of that essential persona. IMO, it's not the same as someone willingly joining in the corruption, or instigating it, as with so many games.
My point was also about incest & its' effect on the perpetrators & the everyday family dynamic. We hardly ever hear any anguish expressed on the thread about the subject & even though I have strong views, I won't moralise. I won't, because as a follower of the blackmail, I'm in no position to do this & wouldn't anyway because we generally know what a corruption game will include when we start playing. After each incest-based event, or picture, you won't hear whatever the anti-incest equivalent of 'white knighting' is called, not from me anyway. I don't wring my hands & bemoan the fact of another good family destroyed in the interests of a moment of sexual pleasure.
Blackmail is a standard element of corruption games & of course it takes a sexual path. Incest is common but is rather more optional. I can't know for certain but I believe that at least one of the reasons why the Bennett route was curtailed was because of the outrage his behaviour caused amongst vocal fans, who were then no doubt disappointed to have evil Aiden arrive on the scene. L&P has or will provide 2 get out options for this route, which I applaud but do not intend to take. Fans, whether they dislike the incest, or the blackmail, need have few worries, because at the rate we're going neither path is likely to reach a conclusion which upsets them unduly.
