I sincerely think this is the titles only hope. Sell it on to another developer.

That or a group rises up to just take it from him. He'd have zero recourse in any logistical sense if someone did. There are companies like Patreon that wouldn't stop them from collecting from fans for it and what could he do by way of legal action? He uses mostly pre-made assets to make a porn VN in a freeware engine (Renpy). He himself has used other IP in his title without permission and good luck even finding the creator if they use even a tiny bit of identity obfuscation.

So, sell it or I hope a group just...takes it. Start where he left off (don't straight-up steal his work/code) and make your own from there. Fans/patrons will see it and move to you when they see equal quality and a release schedule that isn't comically inept to the point of being an obvious grift.

So if I were L&P, I'd just sell it. It seems clear to me that he doesn't want to do this beyond collecting money. So, sell it or risk a group of angry fans just taking it.

Really now, a pirate (thief) hopes/suggests the theft of the project in the name of justice and violated intellectual property rights. The pirate does not pay a cent and talks about obvious fraud.

I admire your dedication and all the other optimists pplz looking forward to those events, but let me tell you this as a realistic person: We're not even close to the first Big hetero sex scene with a sole partner ; slow updates, slow progression and (now) slow animation development cycle since a few weeks.

So, keep your hype in check, mate. I'm not saying this in a condescending or trolling way to hurt your feelings, provoke or discourage you or any other person here. I'm only asking you to look at the truth in it's eyes. The game will be abandoned way before those things happen. How much time for the first threesome ? 10 years? 15 years perhaps ? As time goes by, the hope of seeing the end of this game diminishes every week.

The only THING that can make a turnaround is the creation of a Team. He must stop with his stubbornness, accept help from other talented pplz, create a productive Team and invest in other PC'S/hardware. Then, yeah, we might see the end of this adventure which started almost 5 years ago.
