Interesting but not one of the 'inappropriate' outfits shown represents Sophia in the kind of situation that the upcoming meeting suggests, not even the bar rock concert. Some are entirely appropriate to the situation, whilst others have been temporarily 'adapted' to fit a narrative. None of them endanger their wearer to the extent that the current garb would in RL. Gangs on their turf are technically in a public place, if they're under an open sky but that doesn't stop them enforcing their own standards of behaviour in such a place. Indeed, Sophia's appearance could incite them to invent some new ones. How many women like her & looking that way drop in on them in their shady nook & how often? Hmmm...I wonder.

I'm done commenting on the outfit now, the teaser having done an excellent job of occupying time & effort, (voluntarily), of the thread's participants, me in particular. It has proved a tribute to the power of L&P's rendering skills, a confirmation of the old adage about a picture being worth a 1,000 words & a temporary mask for the hideous pace of the roll-out. All told, that's quite a feat for 1 render.
So, the outfit is not the inappropriate. The inappropriate it's the situation. No matter what Sophia is wearing. The danger of being raped is the same if she dresses as a nun.

Maybe she wouldn't be in danger if she dressed like that.

I completely agree that in the situation shown by the teaser the dress is almost a minor detail (as it could be, sadly, in RL).

For me the "dress issue" came up immediately during the first play through because it seemed an odd choice, without even knowing what could happen next. It's the kind of (cute) dress that you can wear on a date or e.g. for hanging out with a girlfriend (well, I let you have the final word on that ;) ) not to meet your molester. And not just because it could inspire some possible threat of violence in him. It's just does not sound right, at least IMO.

Now, just to be extremely clear, for me it's not a major issue that will ruin the game and so on. It's an interesting topic of discussion while we wait but at the same time I don't want it blowing out of proportion in the discussions.
It's a choice he made, whether it is good or bad is up to discussion but it's still in the real of speculations until we will see what actually happen (and maybe have the "issue" addressed somehow in the dialogues).

So it's with this spirit that I'd try to bring up this *possible* interpretation that in part I already mentioned but I found a little support in the dialogues in the hallway before the 4th task.
When she decides to remove the bra in front of them she says:
View attachment 1785897

I wouldn't say that she is now "comfortable" around Aiden to not even care about being naked in front of him, but somehow the vibe that the whole sequence give is that she has somehow accepted the "game" and the perverted requests that he might ask her. While she obviously still hate him and his manners, the rules of the game have been set and established, so she kinda know what to expect:
View attachment 1785943
And sure, since each new task is a step up, she is still surprised and disgusted by the requests, but she knows very well the nature of them.
So this could at least in part explain the dress, she "does not care" anymore, she knows that there will be some weird requests to satisfy and willingly or subconsciously she "does not care" about the dress she is wearing for the meeting. I put the "does not care" in quotes as I don't mean it literally as she would bare herself in front of him in a snap of a finger.
Put it in lame terms the reasoning will be something along the lines "well he already saw me naked and groped me, it's not that this dress will be worst than that" (I'm obviously over-simplifying).
I know that is not a perfect explanation, even because it does not catch all the nuances of the different paths with which she is going to have the meeting (4th task fulfilled or not, Morello or not, what happened before in the 3rd task etc). But at least it could be coherent with the corruption and the established dynamic between the two characters.

This is a possible interpretation. I still think that there will be another "mirror moment" like before Sam's concert and before going to school for the 4th task in which the choice of the dress will be somehow addressed.

No it's not a bug in the code, Morello can happen if the task is fulfilled, if she chooses to stop or if she didn't exposed the breast during the 3rd task there is not even the possibility of accepting the task.

And your scenario is very possible IMO, I almost suspect that the initial choice to get the hell out of there could be even tied to Morello's choice: for example the choice could be only possible if she asked Morello's help as in that case she can leaving knowing that she has already a solution (which also brings in the question why going if you have a solution, but I diverge). Or it could be the other way around, if you asked Morello's help she'll leave without a choice. Something like that.

You make a number of well presented (and well illustrated) points. Thank you.

Regards Sophia now feeling "comfortable" or "accepting" around Aiden, I believe she is. Only I would go further and say Sophia is now beginning to feel subtly relaxed in Aiden's presence, even as he reads out the script to the next task she's about to complete.
Why?
Because ultimately she trusts him. In a way she has no choice. This can have many ramifications, including a sense of reliance toward him.
From her modest first challenge to go bra-less in class, the increased complexity of the tasks have now become a kind of kinky game Sophia wouldn't dare admit being excited by. We now have to discover how accepting and tolerant Sophia becomes in front of Andre, especially after what she recently witnessed with Jennifer. Because there will undoubtedly be some work she'll need to do to make her peace with Andre. Work which may cross a threshold she hasn't yet anticipated.

The reason Sophia trusts Aiden (to a degree) is because he's demonstrated on many occasions he doesn't just wield authority, but proved himself good to his word as long as the tasks are completed properly.
Sophia understands this, and maybe that's partly why she's feeling confident dressing in her choice of outfit for the hangout. Incidentally, it's a skirt/top, not a dress as some have described. This could also be important.

Whether we'll see Aiden dismiss his gang after Sophia's arrival (as before) remains to be seen. My guess it's going to be whether Morello's thugs turn up, and what thread players opt for.

Sure but why dress sexy to meet Aiden? For us viewers? Not dress shaming but the skirt is quite short, pants would have been better. Again, to meet Aiden, small gang leader and blackmailing her.

I don't think she's "corrupted" enough at this point to dress sexy for Aiden without him asking for it. In a "regular" porn game, that choice of outfit would be totally normal and accepted (and she would already have been fucking half of the town), but it's AWAM.

From there, the road is close to the Stockholm Syndrome, which I wouldn't want at all

I'm sorry I can't agree that it's not corrupted enough. You seem to forget the number of horny scenes and her feelings after each Aiden's tasks.

Feelings like, "I like being humiliated and blackmailed, that makes me horny. I feel wet between my legs. Being almost naked in front of teenagers makes me horny, I like Aiden's cock etc." At this point in the story it would be normal for her to think that a little danger is the next step in her corruption. And I think the game needs this step.

I don't understand how some people think the game lost realism because of this dress. Where did you see realism in the filthy route?

It's possible for even beautiful women to become distinctly undesirable if they so choose. That weapon does it for me, never having appreciated the "girls with guns" fetish myself. Come to think of it the clothes act as more of a deterrent than some oufits I could mention, as they display no flesh, (even sensible gun-toting gloves in situ) & are not ridiculously easy to access.

If you've ever worked on a building site, or similar, you'll know that there's a male group mentality which exists. So, a pretty girl walks by..... 1 young, fit man working alone, glances up & maybe smiles & probably stares after her/ 2 young men working, speak to each other & if in ear-shot might say something to the girl....probably not too obscene, or even relatively harmless &/or flirtatious/ 3/ 6/ 9/ [you get the idea]/ 25 men of all ages, react with gestures, obscene suggestions of what they'd like to do, make animal noises (customarily a wolf), perhaps produce hand & other mimes & generally act out in ways that they'd never do on their own, while possibly trying to outdo each other. All of this plus any specifics about an outfit or certain modes of dress will be observed (which I think I've already covered but which could be added to if really necessary).....they have their own 'traditional' comments. Then a Foreperson turns up & puts a stop to it....or does he just smile, depending on mood?

There are 9 men in the place Sophia is attending & all are young, fit, of slightly varying ages & they already have a gang mentality, plus the foreperson is Aiden.....mood unknown at present. I rest my case.

Ooops just remembered, they're only there to add 'tone' to the scene. They'll all go away if he tells them to...... He will tell them...won't he?

When I made the statement about a bug in the code, it was about if she's in the car deciding to speak with Morello and the reader chooses it. It would cancel out her going to see him and let Morello's men show up in her place without her going to see him regardless. But now it appears that he wants this to happen now.

I thought it was either one or the other, but It looks like it would be a combo of both because it makes little sense to me to show up to listen to the 4th task in a sexy dress after you went to Morello for help. I'm curious how she would play it off with Morello's Men if she continue her meeting with Aiden after the request for help.

I can live with the new outfit, but I think it would be helpful if we got a little bit of exposition from Sophia explaining to herself (and by extension, the player) why she chose to get changed before seeing Aiden. I don't even mind if it's attributed to her corruption. I'd just like to see Sophia say something like "I look really good. I'm getting kinda tired of always dressing so modestly, and I don't need Aiden and his blackmail as an excuse to dress in something cute. Fuck that kid, I'll do what I want." What would be dumb is if she goes there and is surprised that Aiden and his friends think she's dressed up. I want her to show agency over her decision making, and acknowledge that she's stepping outside of her normal boundaries. If she does that then I may be able to accept the outfit more easily.

To me, much of the game still feels like it's trying to have Sophia both ways. In her words she still sounds very naive and bashful, but in her actions she's increasingly corrupt. We need to see her character embrace her current level of corruption better, and one way to do that is by acknowledging that she's dressing differently and enjoying doing so.

Sophia, already tried to justify his outfit election for Sam's concert in front of the mirror, but still some people were not convinced by her justification https://f95zone.to/goto/post?id=6991376

The romper was poisoned from the very beginning and was always going to be criticized. The dialog was tacked on to justify that patrons' votes. Still though, in-game she's had some exposition about what she wears so it would be good to have more. I don't think this new outfit is as poisoned as the romper, so I think it can still work- but I think it would be mistake for L&P to not address it. It helps that the new outfit actually looks cute, whereas I thought the romper was just a poor design all-around.

To be honest I think L&P chose that new outfit to make a hotter event instead of a Sophia's thoughtful decision, but we will see. Although, one justification could be Sophia thinking in an event after Aiden's one and decide to wear it already to not losing time for the next event.

And that's ok. If he wants the outfit because he thinks it will make the scene hotter, that isn't necessarily wrong or lame. I mean, we're all dying for some fun in this game, so I'm not going to begrudge L&P for doing something that could make a scene more fun. But it'll be lame if he tries to write Sophia as unknowing that she's wearing something cute. L&P can put her in that outfit and still explain that Sophia made the active decision to wear it for some reason. What I don't want to see is her getting felt up in the alley while she says to herself "Oh no, my top is too loose. My boobs are falling out!" That would rank right up there with lame porn dialog when the pizza guy asks if I want sausage on my pizza.

If this VN is ever finished (i.e seemingly in the late 2030's at current update) I will probably do a playthrough with Sophia having some fun but being somewhat rational as to how far to push things (i.e. similar to my very first playthrough. However until then I will be playing with full suspension of disbelief, trying to maximise the number of Filthy points, in the hope that it gets to sexual scenes ASAP (with just one exception that we discussed a couple of episodes back)
Poser Voyeur, I'm thinking we are now into the 2040's, given 18 playable days left and more than 1 year (at current pace)/playable day update. To put it in perspective, AWAM's total development time will, if completed, span as much time as the period from the end of WW I to the beginning of WW II.

How many more playable days will go by before we get the...' Renpy/Daz/xyz software has changed so much that I am going to have to do a remaster, starting from day 1, but it's okay - everything will be in 8K with many animations (getting pushed on a swing, jumping on a trampoline, drinking coffee).'

Totally agree. It would be more erotic to hear Sophia thoughts about her behavior than guessing. I hope that she will do that on the beginning of the task. There is medical explanation, or at least an assumption, of her behavior. Masochism is quite common at female population. By some studies there is 40 - 70% of women who fantasize about some sort of masochism. Quote from MSD MANUAL "Women have been repeatedly and intensely aroused by being humiliated, beaten, bound, or otherwise abused; arousal is expressed in fantasies, intense urges, or behaviors."

It is obvious that Sophia is thrilled by risk situation. She risk at school to lose her job, she risk by riding bike to unknown place, and now she risk by going to allay. I think that she tries to justify her behavior by accusing Aiden's blackmailing, but in reality she desperately need that. Something like heroin addict.

L&P wanted the romper. It wouldn't have been 1 of only 2 choices in a (foregone conclusion) poll otherwise. He knows his (paying) audience, their demographic & how they'd vote. Polls give an impression of & in some cases do fulfil, the wish for Patrons to feel more involved. Then there's "plausible deniability" to be considered...
