So, for anyone that would like a quick summary, the dev doesn't think the game is worth playing until it's about 0.10. And since it comes out every .05, we have: 0.75, .080, 0.85, 0.90, 0.95, 0.10.

That's six releases to get to a good stage. If we say that each release takes two months, we have 6 x 2 = 12.

So, maybe we all come back this time next year and see how things are? What think?

The best way is to come in four years. Every game is better played finished.

This is how i imagine the person writing that post looks like.

Putting down people who come here to enjoy "low brow porn games", while imagining yourself as some kind of artist lol. I just cant get over how funny that is, like dude get off your high horse you are not special for avoiding porn in your game, the story and the characters are like a 3rd rate Spanish soap opera. If game of thrones can pull of orgies every other episode while having one of the best and most compelling stories of modern television, i think putting in actual sex scenes wouldn't hurt your Desperate housewives vol.2 game. In fact it would be an improvement, trust me mister starved artist sir.

I've supported this developer from day one (not financially, of course) - defended him from many attacks, and tried to frame my own criticisms in a constructive and helpful manner. Whenever I participate in this thread, I try to be as clear and concise as I can, in hopes that it would help reduce the negativity and toxicity that this oftentimes game receives. After carefully reading the shit-storm of comments that ensued, all I can say is: fuck @Lust&Passion three ways to Sunday, and then some.
Not only did he come off as an arrogant prick, but he actively sabotaged his chances of getting more Patreons by needlessly antagonizing the core audience of F95 members, and revealing himself to be beyond reproach (without even any hint of self-awareness). Worse yet, he insulted and belittled other developers and artists out there, who are simply happy to be part of the community. As @Philly_Games said, it's one of the lowest things any game developer has done on this site.
It's clear that something's wrong with him - maybe he's a harsh perfectionist who pushes everyone away, maybe he's on the spectrum and doesn't realize how others see him, or maybe a lack of love in his life has pushed him over the edge, but his posts were clear examples of narcissism and entitlement. And when he did "address" some of the concerns raised, all he could muster up was more excuses or by again moving the goal post (I promise the next few days are important, te-hee).
I personally don't mind the slow corruption, or how frustratingly prudish Sophia is - the problem is the lack of content and the outrageously long time between updates. A month and a half for only half a day of game play doesn't seem reasonable. Besides, who's to say that it won't turn to 2 months for half a day in the near future, with all the delays he always seems to run into? People are free to continue supporting him if they want, but it just doesn't seem like a good deal at all.
Also, what's the point of having a scene with Ellie and Patricia if it doesn't move things forward with them (in terms of relationship points)? Yeah, I know, Ellie is asking whether her mom is sexually satisfied, but we'll have to wait a couple of years to see those story lines even begin to pay off. And what's the point of Logan, completely undoing Ellie's character development from the previous update? I get that she's bi, but she didn't even hesitate before thinking of jumping onto that dick.
It took me this long to realize that this game is nothing but an exceedingly long introduction to events that may or may never take place. If you read the developer's comments very carefully, you'll notice that he's got "some issues to figure out in the next couple of months". That sounds like code for "I don't know if this is worth my time yet, so I might abandon the game instead of putting up with all you people". And even if he doesn't abandon it, his rotten attitude has soured the story for me.
So again, fuck him. If you want to keep supporting him, that's fine, but don't pretend that he's a reasonable or even reliable developer. And know that there are a bunch of other devs out there who are more deserving of financial support (PhillyGames, LewdLab, Pinkcake, Mr Dots, ICSTOR, DeepSleep, etc). Will L&P go down the same path Gumdrop and P&P followed? Only time will tell, but if he does, you can bet he'll beat them both at their own game. After all, his narcissism knows no bounds.

Unfortunately, like Gumdrops and P&P, there will always be loyalists who sink with him.

With that said i would suggest people give new developers and games a chance over some others that are making a ton of money with nothing much to show for it.

One of the things i decided to do is try to promote and rotate games in my signature that are new and as a result underrated. The two games in my signature are still fairly new with only a fraction of patreon money that this game has, yet are heaps and bounds better in every way. In my humble personal opinion.

So i would suggest people at least check them out and if they enjoy give their support to the developers in any way they can. There are some new games and developers out there just starving for your attention and are very thankful for the support they get which they show with frequent and quality updates.

I agree. Become a Rock Star is a great game. I'd also suggest The Inn, Jessica O'Neil Hard News and Alison Fall of the Apple.

As "prudish" or even frigid as Sophia is about sex, I'm surprised her husband didn't have to beg her for a blowjob. Especially since thats a naughty thing to do, even for marriage in some cultures still.

I haven't played the latest few updates, because my saves from early didn't work.

But, one thing I'd like to know about is that event when Sophia finds her husband in the clothes shop, and later discovers that he was actually there because the daughter of the CEO made him accompany her there. Or maybe they were on a date or something, or maybe Liam is about to cheat on Sophia. Has there been any more on this situation? If you're on the bad wife route, does it seem likely that Liam will find someone outside of his marriage to spend time with?

Or, was that whole thing just a red herring type thing? And she was just jumping to the wrong conclusion a bit? Anyone know?

You're completely right and this is exactly why I didn't come here for so long and also didn't write anything! But after I went through some sites here and read so much blind aggressiveness against my game with arguments that are just a joke without knowledge of any background what I already said a hundred of times, I just couldn't control myself. Especially some particular elements of my work I take very sensible! That's why I think it's the best to just not read in this forum anything at all ever again because this could just lead to unwanted reactions which I will regret afterwards and also didn't mean like that! And it also will be better for my nerves!
So I highly probable won't answer on anything in this forum ever again but I will still answer on personal messages!

Oh for f sake. I think it's awesome that LP came here to set some things straight, but it's hard to ignore the part where he basically called everyone who doesn't share his views, stupid.

Unfortunately, this is nothing new. I remember him from the very beginning when he released his demo and I listed a bunch of typoes and grammatical errors. He straight up said that I lied and he ran a search on the script that returned no such thing. I then attached a bunch of screenshots to show him some of what I mentioned, and he simply just said it was the search error. He never really take any responsibility on his own action.

It definitely is not a realistic. In fact, this game is probably the most unrealistic game here story-wise. Think about it this way, have you ever known a normal commoner middle-aged woman who found so many men (starting from high school kids to old grandpa) lusting for her? Then also the very same woman also found so many young attractive female that may or may not be attracted to her? To top it off, her own husband showed almost no interest in this most-wanted woman. LOL. Even the Kardashians have better storyline.

As someone who is on the heavy story side and focuses on the character development, I can share your view on that. And the annoyance of the people that demands a fuck feast.
But you cannot go on a rampage on the site members and devs that have nothing to do with this. (We have feelings too y'know!)
Least of all the people that create the fan arts.

Everyone can have a bad day and go cray cray so won't go too in-depth with anything. But you should not leave ship and ignore but rather just take a break and come back and post a rational post.

@Lust&Passion: I must say, that I like this game. I also like the pace and the build up. But on the other Hand, I can understand that there is a Frustration About it. I have that to. I know, that sounds strange, but after this update with the jenitor, I have some hopes. She must not become Anna, I guess nobody wants this.

For example with Sam (where you have mad a nice/great bulid up): You can feel, that there ist something between them in a "passionate" way. So, she can give him a real kiss in enthusiasm. She can be a little bit shocked on the outside, but her inner monoluge can be or should be filthy. But she apoliges for to Sam for the kiss. Nex step: She is in the Bedroom and sees, that he is watching her, chaning clothes. She can play with that and tese him. Next: Sam comes over to her house for something. Maybe he got locked out. So that he goes over to her. After some time she ask him if he want to go in the pool. But he has no trunks, so she goes with him upstairs and gives him Dylans. When he is chaning, she feels an inner urge and is watching him. Then she has a inner monoluge which becomes more filthy. And when they are by the pool or in it, there could be a intens or very intens moment between them.
