- dont be silly - i also live in Germany and a developer/coder earning 3500€ (before taxes) is common, and that is pretty enough to pay for rent, energy and all other stuff you need. mostly people earn about 2300-2400 per month on other (lesser paid) jobs and are also able to live - so dont come up with "facts" which are pure lies!
- MC started to act filthy in the first 2 episodes of the game (to "bait" patreons?) by playing on the movers for example, but after that she acts so prude, that even mother theresa seems to be a whore?
- even if you play the "good wife" path - why does she not have sex with her husband? is that a normal way a wife acts?
- i appreciate your renderings (you have several - maybe to much - assets to render together), but are they worth to wait about 5 years to finish a project?
- appreciate you stick to your believings and dreams, but do not wonder you will get the "payment" from those who believed in your game on earlier state and who are disappointed right now.

FINALLY: again sex scenes: you got so much possibilities to include some "action" even without breaking characters or the story (best example: a good wife is having sex with her husband - BASTA), but it really feels as the pace goes down and down every update.

Based on its current state you can not judge the people to leave your project and maybe have a look again once it is finished, as to pay you 270.000 € ( i took YOUR info - not changing anything = 5 years = 60 months = 270.000$ assumed the 4500$ will be constant for sure)

just to compare: i work full time at "fraunhofer Institute" (you are german too - you know this corporation) as developer/coder and i get 210.000€ (3500*12*5) - so dont tell us that you dont earn enough

STILL LAST QUESTION LEFT:
Based on your own info you make 31 days - so 8 are done = 23 left
Based on the last updates we got 1/2 day every 3 months (i respect your private issues)
let me guess i just double this rate and i concede you 1 full day every 3 Months
that would be overall nearly 6 years
so HOW DO YOU THINK to reach final goal after 3-4 years?

PS: even think that more "private issues" will delay this schedule even farther away backwards!

I dont want to insult you, nor do i want to destroy your dreams or "cut off" those who still believe in an impossible mission (imho) - all i want to do is show you with your own delivered data and facts, that you are wrong!

I want to make few observations.

First, we shouldn’t judge how much donations he should have. People who are making donations have right to decide what game they will support. He is still developing game at steady peace, to slow for most, but steady. Game is not abandoned, as some, who are still receiving donations.

Second, he cannot improve speed or quality or storytelling, above his possibilities, just because he is receiving more money, and finding help is also not as easy as all think.

Also, you cannot compare his work with working in some firm, where firm is providing your equipment and resources, and takes care of your needs. This is also unfair.

I still think that game is not so original and realistic at all to deserve such attention. And he just doesn’t listen to peoples logical and reasonable suggestions, he could easily decrease unnecessary renders by 20-30% and still keep his “vision”. All this talk about “vision” is also funny, like guy thinks he is Martin Luther King…

But pickings of incest games are very slim lately so that is probably the reason for so much patrons.

All that being said, last day was like looking Titanic hitting the iceberg, because, when developer starts to have this kind of bitter discussions with forum, and even mentions private problems and possibility of Patreon ban, this is usually beginning of the end. We have seen it before.

The point is...as many time passed and months as much as it could be, on Patreons they recieve more and more cash. Sooo...literally...they milking us for money just for 1 pathetic upadate of 5 minutes per 3 or 4 month. Its not about only this game...but lets just say...game was beautiful at the beginning, but due to lack of better updates, it has no point to follow him on patreon. Especially some developers already have finished 3 or 5 updates, but instead to gives u all in one, they gives you 1 per 3 month only to earn more greens. Its a fukin shit man. I aint paying no more for this until I see proper regular updates in limited time. As Angelina Jolie said in Hackers 1995: ''dont send boys to do the girl's job ''

I doubt about that.If you can be so easy demotivated then you're in wrong business.Gaming industry is pretty harsh.
Also it seems he will try to release updates faster after he resolve his personal issues.
Of course anyone thinking that the game will be finished in 3 or even less years is delusional.
Even if we going to half day each month we are looking for 4 more years at best.

It's ok if you don't care. People are free to do whatever they want with their money. But if I see someone at the casino gambling away all their money, I might talk to them and at least ask them if they're completely sure they want to do that.

He can purchase another PC. He chose to do so behind the $10k/month patronage goal knowing that it's win-win for him either way. If he reached $10k/month, it's easy money for him. If he didn't reach $10k/month, it's an excuse for him to not improve the speed of his release. In reality, there's no need to wait for $10k/month before investing into another PC.

Finding help is definitely not easy when you don't try to find help and simply believe that you must do everything yourself because other people wouldn't be able to achieve the same quality as if you did yourself.

As for the update, I found it quite sexy..

This time around the writing felt rushed and badly thought out. Ellie suddenly turned out to be a slut.
We no longer have the slow, well thought out pace that we enjoyed up until now.

Too bad. Hopefully future updates won't break it completely.
