Incest is allowed on Steam. However, anything that is underage isn't. And that includes high schools. So if LP seriously wants to put the game on Steam, he still has a lot of reworking to do.

It'll take a while regardless. We don't even know how far along he is at redoing the early game renders, let alone any story tweaks. Worrying about the steam release right now is pointless, it's still a couple years away in all likelihood if not more.

And guess what we're already halfway through the game at PD13 with a storyline, it would make no sense. We'll get a clear idea after he releases a statement on this after this upcoming update

Confusion is the normal state of play when it comes to AWAM & particularly concerning what the future might hold. There's another 3 or 4 years to go before the half way stage is reached. Maybe things will have been adjusted for Steam by then, maybe not. As far as I can tell the biggest issue regarding characters has to be the apostles. Shota is L&P's favourite kink, as far as we can tell, amongst his liking for big age differences between inter-acting cast members.

If he makes the shota boys 18, then it's not shota. Currently the apostles look to be in the 12-15 range & aging them up would not only be creepier, it would be very unrealistic from a number of different angles. Still that's the Dev's problem. Many games & stories issue a disclaimer with their promotional material, or blurb, stating that all characters are consenting adults, over 18 years of age. Viewing some of the personalities referred to strongly suggests otherwise. Sometimes complaints are made &/or action taken to re-adjust or write out. Terms & conditions aren't always strictly adhered to. (One character I remember was banned, even though he was & could have passed for 18).

L&P moves so exceedingly slowly that much may have changed by the time the "trailer" he once alluded to is ready for a launch on Steam.

All we need to do from a fan POV is carry on as before & treat any plans with a certain amount of justifiable scepticism.

It was because of Patron that he used the DOL version.

However, since Patron is a site that connects sponsors and Steam is a platform that sells games, there seems to be a difference in legal responsibility.

Patreon may claim "I didn't know" or "they used a circumvention", but Steam won't be able to do that.
