My comments made you have to think of something 'clever' before you replied & not just use a facepalm. My work here, (for now), is done. I waste a lot of time here, it's true. Time at my age is definitely not on my side, especially where AWAM is concerned but at least I can waste it how I like. That's called "freedom of choice." Any time you want anything else explaining, just let me know.

That's why this game is for the mania only. I have no complaint of the slow burning but hope the development progress moves in a daily at least.

Regard this as an addendum. I just had a thought. If that's supposed to be me on the receiving end of a slap, you need another gif, or whatever. Even with these years, I'm still handsomer than that. I could be an old version of Dylan. I'll stick to comments (& parodies) on AWAM & never put into words, (or pictures), what I really think of the sycophants, because I don't want to be banned again.

There are no realistic porn games and AWAM will certainly not be an exception. What some here may have misinterpreted as realism is the slow burn. Of course, slow burn means that less happens at the beginning of the game, and the lack of content alone makes everything seem more real world realistic somehow. But as it is in a curruptions game, you can't just keep the whole game from happening, because that would be most realistic story. I hope it is clear why this idea alone is ridiculous.

Anyway, it also has to be said that AWAM was never particularly realistic in the first place. Just consider the Aiden story line, the sex lessons, the Sybian event (leasbian path), the assault and the associated revenge event and also all the gangster events. None of this is really realistic in a real world sense. It has been a porn game from the beginning, only with slow burn.

Also, I think it is important to realise that realism in a porn game only makes sense if it supports the game and not as an objective in itself. Here, AWAM benefited from having a slow burn in the beginning, as this makes the corruption appear more significant. If, however, certain topics (e.g. incest) are made impossible in the game because someone try to make a porn game real world realistic porn game, he would fail, because a porn game need things happen that would not happen in the real world. If everything in a porn game would be realistic, almost nothing would ever happen, and no one would have to play the game, because it would be deadly boring. Or do you really want a game where Sophia only has sex with Liam?

Here we go again. (Thanks for the facepalm BTW, at least something must have hit home). I've never said AWAM had to be or actually was realistic. I have said that it had a "veneer" of realism. That from my POV was what made it akin to one of the better porn novels or films. Suspension of belief was required as with fiction of any type. Never once have I confused the slow burn with the veneer to which I refer, rather it was part of the overall more realistic approach of the Dev. More realistic, that is, than most sexploitation games on F95. Even just the absence of the 'wham, bam...' approach was a welcome change. That alone was "a touch of class," in a field flooded with more basic products. I find nothing ridiculous in that.

Of course STUFF had to happen. Personally I wish more of it would have happened sooner, via less trademark interruptions, while I could still actively play. All storylines, in this & every other game, can be queried & held up as highly unlikely. Where AWAM scored heavily was in the appearance of a credible, logical sequence of events, regardless of the outcome being a somewhat illogical porn scenario. [Here I'll digress to say that there was a noteworthy exception, i.e. the drive to the workplace to take a shower, having already had a bath. That WAS ridiculous but to me was the exception that proved the rule]. All of the above wasn't only down to the quality renders but was attributable to a standard of writing which varied from slightly above average to very good.

I include the incest in this strictly personal assessment but only in the early part of AWAM. Good porn stories, in whatever medium, can't be expected to be consistently good from start to finish. Most fictional tales, from SF to soaps, have ups & downs. What has happened to AWAM, IMO, reflects a decision or two by the Dev to cater primarily for a youthful, not especially sexually experienced audience. There's nothing intrinsically wrong with that & we were all virgin schoolboys, or girls, once. AWAM's decline commenced as it became obvious that there appeared to be no other audience of importance but the mission statement didn't change. This new 'reality' wasn't even reflected in the addition of the "male protagonist" tag, now years overdue. It's almost as if L&P still believed that his project was on course, just in the manner he'd always intended, despite not being due to finish for several decades, having slowed to a crawl & containing very little for any fan not enamoured of familial incest, or huge age differences between sexual partners. He sees continuity but several long-term fans don't.

Even with the controversy & hatred I stir, I have never suggested exclusion of any of the kinks or fetishes present in AWAM. What would have been good would have been a far better balance of the aforesaid kinks, along with an appeal to all ages. This would have necessitated more frequent updates, (event-based updates have proven a horrible way to tell a story of such complexity but were originally promised at a monthly rate), less stories & characters, merging to avoid duplication, in other words, more work, in all likelihood, so instead there's this average teen porn.

I think you guys are both correct in your own way, as it depends on the definition of "realistic." If something must be commonplace to be realistic, then no, virtually no porn game is realistic at all. However, if by "realistic" you mean something that could happen in real life, then AWAM moves closer to that standard. We see the news stories of teachers having affairs with their adolescent students, we can find real incest online (usually brother and sister but other varieties are out there), etc. Might a woman who owns a sybian in the comfort of her own home invite other women she's attracted to to try it out? Of course! Is something like that ever LIKELY to happen to you or a woman you know? No.

Where AWAM becomes harder to swallow is that Sophia is supposed to be an intelligent, reserved woman. Even if we make ONLY filthy choices for her, her running inner monologue is filled with shame, embarrassment, and hesitation. Would someone like that strip practically naked in a stranger's home to give sex education to her (very) young sons? Almost certainly not, but then one of these days we'll read about it actually happening and we'll all crap our pants in shock.

This is where the slow burn aspect helps support the feeling of realism. Sophia isn't randomly blowing boys at school, for example. But I think what is happening between Sophia and Sam, for example, is VERY realistic, in that something like that could certainly happen. The bikini modeling show she did for Sam and Dylan is another example. I seem to recall reading a story several years ago of a woman who did a strip show for her son and her son's friends during a birthday party. On Reddit just last night I saw a video that purported to be that of a mother buying her son a lap dance on his 18th birthday. That's not the same as giving her son a lap dance herself, but it's a spectrum, you know?
