around this time last year. I discovered this game and immediately loved the game. after finishing the current version of the game, I couldnt imagine how sex scenes going to be, all those filthy routes with Sam and dylan.





Dev had the same thoughts as well I guess. he couldnt imagine

The game is one of my favourite, but it has a looot of "but":

Pluses:
+ Good storyline (quite logical, due to genre)
+ Good renders (especially hot MC)
+ Catchy sexy situations
+ Fast update (jokin')

Minuses:
- Slooow updates with no content at all (maybe the main problem, to say the truth the passion and the interest are getting lower because of this...)
- Too much characters ( I understand, that in the future there will be a reason of there existance and appearance, but because of slow pace they're annoying already)
- Lack of nudity from the MC ( I mean, even when she has sex with her husband, there are no pictures of her pussy, penetration, etc.)
- Stupid twists in sexy situations (I mean "blue balls", to milk more patrons of course, and the funny thing is that plots and renders in the "fan art" topic are more exciting and hot than in original game)
- A lot of useless renders and dialogues.
- No animations/videos.
- Weak realization of double storyline (it's sooo annoying to skip the whole game everytime to watch some sexy scene, and the most funny thing is that the "good" path has more sex content than "filthy", WTF dev?!)
- And so on...

Of course there are no ideal games even with cosmic money budgets and time, but this game has a potential, fans and money support, let's hope the dev knows what to do and will not disappoint us and our purple balls.

This update had 346 renders, whole day 9 had 1000!!! And we're not talking here about just some custom renders without background life and mistakes. After the very elaborate beach event, this update has 2 further huge and extremely elaborate scenes with a lot of different background characters and unique poses/expressions. I don't think that you've seen many of such kind of elaborate scenes in other games! Plus visual effects, special sound, every image is additionally edited, 2 animations, 1 little kiss animation, long well-thought out dialogues, A LOT of unique perfect manually created poses and expressions, German to English translation etc. I'm a perfectionist so I'm only pleased if everything is perfect. For one developer it's a mountain of work! Plus I have also to do some other important things in life like you can imagine. Just name me one single game of this kind with a similar effort! I don't remember when I had something like "free time" the last time. Additionally I have some things in my private life which I hope to solve this year and which I will still tell everyone here. I'll try to find someone (if I reach my 3rd goal) who could maybe help me out with some minor scenes to speed it up a little bit. But I don't know if I will find someone with my high standards! At least not that fast.

Plus the game has different paths/endings, so if you play them all it doesn't look that "short" anymore!

No it isn't. He is totaly right and honest.
Have you ever beein involved in any project like that at all ?
You dont have a faintest idea how it is.
And anyone with any experience can tell MONSTROUS ammound of works on every single detail that this guy puts into his work.
Quality of his work visualy, technicaly, writing wise, special effect wise is on whole another level.

There was but 1 another game that came close to his amount of detail and quality - High Life - and it turned out to be a scam that dropped after releasing just 1 chapter of prologue (and promissing to work on the 2nd day of the game for over a year.)

Becouse for anyone else to make a game of this quality - it would take over a year to make just 1 day worth of content.

L&P isn't perfect (I think he is overly concerned with profits - but hard to blame someone wanting to get paid for his talent), he probably could make each update be released a bit faster (20% faster maybe), but anyone who doesnt see tremendous amount of work he puts into makeing this is blind, malicious or mentaly impared, or clueless haven't done any similar work (or any work at all) in his life.

Honestly we are all Blessed that someone with perfectionist character like him started working on this game. Anyone else with weaker character like 99% of people would have abandoned it long ago.
But this is why only that 1% of people are capable of producing works of art, and the rest can't even apreciate Art when they see it.

Nope, the guy isn't so great. Yeah, his renders are good, but he's not the only one who does those. And while you get all wet about the number of NPC's in one of them or how well it is all set-up and posed, I just don't see many people seeing it like you do or care about it a lot.

And tbh, his story is becoming more and more boring, the slow-burn would work if the updates came faster and had a bit more substance, but they don't and so it all just develops too slowly.

I've played so many games here and I can't really agree with you at all, that Lust & Passion is so extraordinary,
I mean you don't even KNOW Philly and he's one of the most consistently content delivering devs here, his updates have a good size, he tells a great story, the girls are gorgeous and you sing praise for AWAM and L&P as if your opinion is the be all and end all and you don't even know someone like Philly.


And also, even if everything he says in that "interview" was correct (and it really isn't) , the way he says it and his attitude are way too full of himself and smug, for someone who is so slow and doesn't manage to provide enough sexy content to keep up the thrill level of his game.

You seem to confuse good renders quality with actual scene quality. I haven't seen every single game out there - so I might be wrong, but pretty much nobody makes the scenes so full of details and npc, doesnt spend nearly as much time at making sure every move is staged properly etc. And it is not a time wasted - it makes AWAM the most realistic looking story out there.

Of the people you listed I dont know Mr Jet and Philly, and from among the others only ICSTOR and DrPink come close to the quality L&P puts out. ICSTOR graphical and animation skills are obviously superior to L&P, but he never does difficult scenes involving a lot of people or have to make a difficult scenes filled with props from every day life - he just makes a kick ass sex scenes. And DrPink - as much as I respect him, he also avoids difficult scenes. None of their games are VN structured in the same way as AWAM, their games are closed to select locations that are just backgrounds, and they only need to make events to progress the story. It saves a ton of work, but make their game feel less like a great TV series sa AWAM does, and more gamey.
But even if you look at it - these 2 are releasing updates very rarely, taking even more time between each update than L&P does.

Becouse Quality takes time.

You say you don't know Philly. Might I recommend you check out his completed game Depraved Awakening. It is extremely well written, the renders are some of the best in the business and it is a completed game.

I'll pass on this and wait a few more + updates before downloading this again and by then hopefully there'll be some scenes with some of the female characters in the game that'll be worth checking out. Till then I'm going to go check out echoes of lust and deep impact.

Well I might be late, but seems like deep impact got a rushed ending. Just look at the last page of comments. So I guess don't go in expecting much.
