Hi, thinking of giving this one a try. Is it similar to A Perfect Marriage? Based on some of these latest comments it doesn't sound like it has much action scenes... Of course APM doesn't either but I think that's because its building up to that.

LP isn't going to do that.
As far as I can tell, the other old guy isn't there. He hasn't been shown in any of the latest previews. So I assume he isn't in the room when this is happening (another nurse came to take him some place probably).
LP often, or almost always, ends events by interrupting them just before it goes past where he wants his pacing to be. So I'm going to say the other old guy and the nurse comes back into the room right after (or maybe even during) this latest preview. This is also probably why LP changed Sophia out of the nurse outfit so soon, she obviously couldn't be caught in that thing.
