Mainly because of sunken cost fallacy. We already invested too much time and like okay fuck it, let me download and see the one new scene. Game has no hope of rapid progress at this rate. But all hope is not lost. I think the biggest change is going to come from AI. Its getting lot better these days and given how many renders we have for each character, its very easy to create not just additional images but whole video/movie. So thats the positive note I want to leave it out here.

When starting fresh in in part 2, is there a guide which explains what selections enable and disable content?

I don't know what is enabling or disabling the laundromat scene for example. I've both gotten it and not gotten and i don't know why. Same for the scene with Sam's Mom.

In fact, it seems to be mostly the Dylan scenes that are confusing and random, because the questions pretty much all relate to Sophia, not Dylan.
