The early game has Liam being the main MC and he was supposed to be cheating on Sophia but later on L&P changed this to Sophia being the main MC so you can disregard the points that you have mentioned.
Also L&P stated himself that Liam is not cheating on Sophia and he will not be cheating on her in the future as any encounters Liam has will not be in secret behind Sophia's back and she will have full knowledge of what he is doing.

Kind of funny in this case to see that after 7+ years of faffing about and making little headway even with just one protagonist to concern himself with, he's done 180 on that and is now pushing Dylan as the alternate/main protagonist for all its worth.

But not anytime soon.
Just look how the dav continue to split the game maore and more.
First one update was a full day,later half day,1/3 day.
One event per update.
Now this event is split in 5 scenes.
Pretty soon he will make one update-one scene.
And still it will take more than month for a release.
