I never understood all that "bad guy" bullshit in AWAM and Aiden is the most laughable of the “bad guys” in the game. I think L&P has clearly pushed things too far here and doesn't have enough skill to tell the story well. It's not easy to make a character look mean enough to intimidate a woman like Sophia enough to make his demands believable, and still try to make the character seem sympathetic. What's more, his story is strangely disconnected from the rest of the family. Neither Liam nor Ellie have anything to do with him and although Dylan is the entry point into this story, these two don't really seem to meet again either. Clearly a side story that L&P should ideally scrap altogether. The real "dangerous territory" for the developer was Aiden and, eventually, his henchman, André.
That's why he kicked them to infinity, and beyond.
With Aiden, there was no excessive "touching the fabric" and bullshit like that. He ordered Sophia to strip, show her ass, her tits, and that was it.
At this point, if they had prioritized the central stories and solely Aiden and the Shotas as secondary stories, guiding the development of the main plot (if it really exists at this point), Sophia would have already sucked all the cocks and surely gotten several good fucks, from Aiden and even from the spoiled, idiot child she has for a son.
But of course, all of this was unfeasible for the developer's excessive financial interests, as has been clear to everyone for a long time ;-)
Dylan is extremely useful for this "project" because, obviously, Sophia, being his mother, feels a deep repulsion at the idea of being sexually manipulated by her own son, which makes it easier to indefinitely delay the game's development. And that's all there is to it.
Even worse is the side story with the kids. Similar to the old men from the retirement home, there is no reference to the main story at all. Just a waste of time. Again, I think it would be best to leave this content out of the game, or if it can't be avoided at all, add it later as an DLC.
What makes Dylan's story so problematic is that L&P simply put the brakes on way too much here. If you consider how much work Dylan had to put into the little bit of progress he mand with Sophia compared to Ellie, for example, something just doesn't fit.
One more thing, the game was from the beginning about Sophia as “A wife and mother”. If anything, it's Liam and not Aiden who has been neglected in the story to much so far. I can only hope that Liam gets some more interesting events later on, too. There is so much potential when you consider how far Sophia has come with Ellie and Dylan.
