Good writing and storytelling left AWAM a long time ago, but its artistry and craftsmanship still held on—at least until L&P decided to switch to AI. Hand-animated work would look much better because it still reflects an intention to create actual art. After all, these aren’t just porn. But now, L&P is taking it down a path that many of the original audience no longer recognize. Sure, it’s attracting a lot of new viewers, but the glory it once had will be long gone.

I don't think these AI animations are making him any faster either. Making 5-10 Blender animations is likely quicker than 50 AI ones, like he said he's doing for this event. That's an animation ever 20 or so renders.

One thing is always true: LP is fantastically bad at controlling or estimating scope.

This update was meant to be, like, 500 renders tops when it started. And now it's 1000+ renders and 50 animations and close to 60 pages of script.

The museum date, knowing what I said above, will likely end up being a multi-stage event too. Like this Dylan one is.

They'll (Sophia and Pat) will meat up with the guys somewhere, go to the museum, and then go somewhere else for the "main event" etc.

Sad truth, Bro. Still, he said there won't be " sex " in the museum event. If it's meant to be a cold shower after the supposed " fire " upcoming Dylan event, it's going to be another waste of time, like the last Dylan nipple-sucking event we got a few months ago.... Like Bro, why didn't he take more time and include everything in a big fat event ? The last update was like this:



Now, let's go back to the musem event. Things are meant to go upwards after 8 long fucking years. It's TIME TO STOP going forward and backward. What's the point of making it if it doesn't bring anything to the canon main story ? Why doesn't he jump directly at the ranch event development and make another good move, like the " Dylan-amber event, if I remember correctly, that he dropped at the end of PD13 " ?. Make a poll if he wants to inlude Dylan at the ranch - I don't care, but he should just stop with the side-stories which are slowing the main course. I know consumer is King, but at the end of the day, HE'S THE BOSS. He should stop making non-constructive polls.

Like I said, these events are meant to happen in alternative timelines. So LP isn't going to let one get ahead of the other, especially not a side-story like the museum guys getting "hotter" content than Dylan does. I actually think whatever happens in this event will almost run parallel with the museum event. Just swap out Dylan's teasing/groping for Pat seducing her with the guys, put them in a museum instead of a movie, and there you have it. That, of course, assumes LP doesn't veto the fan vote and decided to not do it after all (which honestly, isn't a bad idea).

This event, the Dylan date, will have people wanting the sun the moon and the stars. But people have to remember that LP has a standardized way of doing events. The teasers and LP's statements of "hotness" don't matter.

The teasers set up expectations for something grand to happen, but the actual events are designed to leave people wanting more, in a step-by-step formula that LP has used forever: Sophia will resist, get talked into it, do it, and before it advances too far, they'll be interrupted.

The only time he has deviated from this is the Ellie sauna event, but we all know he doesn't view lesbian content as "corrupting" as straight content.

So I would be shocked if LP lets Dylan and Sophia "skip" a step in this update. I'd say, at most, Sophia will give Dylan a BJ (catching him up to Ellie) and that's it. Sophia isn't going to have sex with anybody, and more likely than not, won't have an orgasm either.

sad but true, I figure she gives Dylan a hand job though.

As GingerSweetGirl has said a few times in this thread, as soon as Sophia crosses that line and has sex with someone not named Liam, a lot of people will lose interest.

L&P knows that, so he's going to milk this for much longer than he should. It will hurt AWAM in the long term, but he still makes money.

A lot of people shouldn't lose interest after Sophia crosses the line, it should be like, ' Okay, who's next? Is she going to have a threesome with Julia and Ellie or Sam and Dylan? ' What happens with Zach and Alyssa? How far will she go with Aiden and his friend? There is so much more potential to this as soon as she crosses the line, but sadly, to some people, Sophia loses allure after the first time.

so forgive me because i'm sure i'm not the first to ask but, how is this update going exactly? is this release just the Dylan segment or is the reason its taking so long because we are getting parts 1-5 all at once? I have seen it talked about but, unsure how its really supposed to go.

Judging by the forum, the game is shaping up to be a true masterpiece in the style of "perpetual beta." Each new teaser feels like an Advent calendar — except instead of sweets, we've been getting hints of what we've been waiting for already eight years. The developers clearly decided that "long development" is a genre, not a problem. But all right, it's fine — the main thing is the atmosphere and hope that someday Sophia will finally decide... well, you know what we mean.

Looks pretty good to me. Much better than the ones at the movie theater. If AI animations is the way he'll go from now on, we can only hope that 1) he sets a high bar for the quality of the generations 2) he uses the animation budget he'll be saving to hire help to speed up the developing process

Nope. To generate proper AI animation one has to try different iterations and different prompts. Also has to generate series of images that AI understands to create animation. L&P won't give up until it meets his expectation. So expect delays even with AI as he will add more animations to the mix.
