A consideration on Dylan's role in this game. I'm truly perplexed by all these reservations about corruption and incest, especially between Sophia and Dylan, but also between Sophia and Ellie, and perhaps, from what I understand, between Dylan and Ellie themselves. It seems porn games are meant to have this strange pedagogical and ethical role, making the prospect of incest so unacceptable and horrifying. It seems obvious to me that the primary and ultimate purpose of these games is to escape reality and the ethical and social norms associated with it. So welcome to the most depraved incest if it's a means of embracing a fantasy world where one can unload the anxiety and worries of everyday life through immersion in a parallel reality. It simply makes me laugh when Sam's fans, yet Dylan's detractors, fail to grasp this fundamental aspect of the visual novel. Sam is nothing more than a banal and perfectly normal neighbor friend of Sophia's son. Where's the perversion, the evasion of moral norms, the collapse of every taboo, and the rejection of the foundations of human civilization when a forty-year-old woman has sex with her son's friend who lives next door? (At least nowadays, of course). A ridiculous story of ordinary cuckoldry, perhaps a little spicy given the age difference. But so what? After all, this game offers so many options and paths (perhaps too many) that this prurient taboo is avoidable, unless you really want it. Is it the Protestant mentality, given the American audience here on this forum? Couldn't you leave it at church and have fun without so much mental wanking?

Keeping Dylan close would be in fact very normal for a game like this as it is one of the main things about it. Putting the son in weird situations in front of the mom or vice-versa, it's the kind of thing that is expected. The ranch may very well offer these situations, which would help develop things.

The funny thing is, i normally like the incest setups in games... and yet the way the author of this one handled Dylan's personality, his subplot and the absolute avalanche of recent scenes where he's basically the protagonist, managed to actively turn me off from this pairing and at this point i'd rather see the little shit die a sexless virgin. Which, tbh is quite a feat; even more so when at the same time the subplot with the daughter is done pretty well.

Dylan/Sophia updates always makes the most amount of money for L&P and it's not going to hurt L&P numbers. Yet L&P doesn't include Dylan/Sophia update every event of the playday. Introducing penetrative sex with Sophia will also make L&P more money and yet he hasn't went for it. He has a vision for the game and he is developing it accordingly.

You are right about the first part however this totally unbalances the game. According one old poll Dylan comes first, Ellie is not very far behind ; Amber and Sam are very appreciated too, followed by Patricia.

By highlighting Dylan further, he will disappoint a large part of the players (I already am a bit).

When incest happens in real life it happens from the "position of power" i.e. it's always the parent (father most of the time) who initiates it. It most certainly does not involve "dry humping" over clothing. Similar thing is when sibling incest is happening - most of the time it's an older sibling who initiates it. Additionally, all these games have "regular porn-like sequence" i.e. handjob-blowjob-vaginal sex-anal. In real life, incestuous intercourse does not follow that gradual progression.
Same is with cheating - people in real life who have an extramarital affair, do not go at it gradually (holding hands and kissing on the cheek in the park), they go at it fully.
