Well the museum event has very little to do with the main plot but its all this fucking about by her as she has already cheated on her husband with numerous people so stop all this pretense and just FUCKOFF.
Yeah the curse of having multiple storylines that are supposed to be independent of one another. For the players, they bleed into one another in our minds over time.
If one plays the game solely on the good wife path, Sophia is basically a nun. A sexy nun, but a nun, nonetheless.

Patricia will probably convince her to take it off, doubt it'll be an option since all the extra render work. Won't make a difference to me, she can take it off tomorrow so it doesn't get lost when they're making out and fingering each other.

One of the things that is never explained is why Patricia is so hell bent on destroying her sisters marriage or why she wants to bed her.

Maybe she just wants her to be happier overall? She thinks her carefree way of life could lead to more happiness without thinking about what Sophia actually wants or needs. Kinda like how religious folk try to convince non-believers that their way of life is better just because that's their perspective.

If we are to take her name at it's worth and that car say we must...then it's her higher class identity which dictates her actions...like a true noble ancient Roman woman...she wants her sister to have another of "noble birth" as husband and have an orgy with her at the same time!

This is a very good question, and central to the point of this story. As children, Sophia was the "perfect daughter" with the outstanding GPA and excelled in sports. Patricia was complaining to Sophia about this in the first gym scene before the co-ed shower scene. L&P strongly infers Patricia was probably compared to her older sister by their mother. I can imagine, "Patricia. Why can't you be like your older sister, Sophia?"
It is clear that Patricia rebelled early, and by age 12 is high in the saddle with boys in the bed. This was also covered in early conversation between Patricia and Sophia. Sophia pushed to a near-superhuman level to achieve almost everything to please her parents and emulate their professor standards. Sophia herself became a college professor at the age of 22 (or soon thereafter). Patricia's most conspicuous achievement is managing a hotel (we do not know who gave her the job).
Patricia wants to bring her perfect sister down to her level, and she probably has other ulterior motives as well. Since Patricia confessed that her domestic sex-life was not fulfilling she seems to want a partner-in-crime (with her deflated sister.)

For me, another question was always more important: At some point, Patricia claimed that her sister was an even bigger slut than she was. Where did that come from? There is a five-year age difference between them, which alone makes it quite unlikely that they had the same circle of friends. And the two women's lives are also very different. Patricia must know her sister quite well to see behind the façade. It would be nice to get an explanation for this.
