So, people have had enough of debates about realism. I can understand that, e.g. I've heard all the speculation about Dylan & how far he'll get after the nightclub that I'll ever need.
Therefore, I am going to give two examples of 'realism' within the context of AWAM, i.e. NOT real-life realism, featuring the lad himself. Then I will leave the topic alone, at least until after the update & probably longer, because it's hard to discuss what doesn't exist.
1) Dylan encounters Amber in the kitchen. One thing leads to another & finishes with mutual masturbation, with a satisfactory outcome. It was a needless scene IMO but if it had gone that way, it would have seemed realistic within the porn context.
2) Dylan encounters Amber in the kitchen. One thing leads to another & mutual masturbation ensues. This continues in plain sight with Amber's husband & son, who happens to be Dylan's best friend, entering & sitting just inches away, at the same table, as the active protagonists silently orgasm. [As in silently FFS]. Clean-up has to wait, i.e. what actually occurred.
Obviously Dylan (& possibly L&P) never encountered the types of fathers & sons/brothers that I met as a teen. I'm thinking about their daughters & sisters, not the mother of the household. Danger would have immediately arisen from the scramble, on first hearing footsteps, to stop & look innocent. It would have to have been convincing & the rest of the time all mental faculties would have been deployed in order to survive the next half hour, or whatever. Any thought of continuing, let alone orgasms would have vanished. That second scenario illustrates nicely what has happened to the veneer of realism AWAM once had & how it has become pure schoolboy wish fulfilment.
Now, it may be that somebody will say that they have done what Dylan & Amber did. Even if I was to believe it, I'd still say that they never encountered the kinds of fathers & brothers I met as a teen.
