Would someone please explain what a cliffhanger is in the modern context to L&P?

To have a "cliffhanger" in a story several elements are suggested. First the conclusion of it has to have an impact on the story plot. Second, it has an important consequence. Third should be a surprise.

Now if this event is geared toward an ending (like 7 years down the road at this rate), then there is a cliffhanger that fulfills all the conditions. Does anyone want to wait 7 years to find out--hell will anyone remember it that far down the road?

Something disturbing is the rumor, L&P is bringing back Liam's suggestion of a wife swap as part of some wedding. I barely remember that, and I can't tell you if that was in part one or two.

Oh well now the fossils update is in the works ... sigh

I highly doubt this but maybe Sophia catches Leah having sex with a woman.

The more, I think about this, the more I think Sophia spying on Leah with a woman after she retrieves her bag would be utterly perfect.

As I said, highly doubt it as L&P seems shy about adding any real plot since the whole reversal of Dylan setting Sophia up with Aiden.

Your scenario is like saying "I wish a shooting star would fall from the sky" suddenly one day.

I made several questios about this to LP. Here are the questions and the answers:

ME: I don't know if it's a mistake. If Sophia chooses to be groped by Aiden's men, then Aiden summons her to school on Monday. But Sophia doesn't have school on Mondays. Is this a typo, or is Aiden forcing her to go?

LP: "This Monday thing was already edited. Sophia will work on Monday but the principal will message her this info later. Aiden just says "next week" instead of Monday."

ME: When Sophia chooses to show her tits, Aiden tells her that he will tell her later about the new task. Is there a difference between her showing her tits or being groped? In any case, will it be on Monday when Aiden tells her the new task?

LP: "Yeah, it will be right before next class."

ME: Will Aiden's 5th task be on Monday (PD 16) or Tuesday (PD 17)? If there is one on Monday, will there be another on Tuesday?

LP: "Yes"

ME: Will Aiden's less comfortable exit be on Wednesday (PD 18), as originally stated, or on Tuesday (PD17)?

LP: "Don't know what you mean. The first solution was already in the morning of this day with asking Don Morello for help. The next will be in around 5 game days."

If I remember it correct, L&P stated the cliffhanger within quotes which, by reading the rest of the original statement, lead me to the conclusion it's not a cliffhanger per say but more of a conclusion of the event that he didn't have time to put in the update. In other words, don't treat it as a real, regular cliffhanger. It might have a small twist to it but nothing more.
