Incest is one tag. As the talk has been about people who can't read, I note that there are 20+ other tags. Incest was always going to be part of the game, that much was clear from the start but if that was all there was, I wouldn't have played for the first 5 years, mostly without regret. (That came later & is one reason I haven't played for 3+ years). "Corruption" was supposed to be the over-riding theme, of which incest would be one major but not the only element. (Many such corruption games have an opt-out for various kinks but not AWAM, when it comes to incest). I don't kink shame but let's just say that I find incest about as erotic as a brick. [Let no gonk chime in by stating that bricks are erotic. I used to make them & they're not]. It was Dylan's constant poll winning that had him promoted to MC, obviously a calculated business decision, after which the spiral into an incest-focussed, unoriginal, formulaic, average teen porn story was almost guaranteed. There's little doubt, however, that incest fans have been well catered for by L&P standards. Perhaps that's why they seem to need to gas light non-incest fans that there was never anything else. What other reason could there be?It is baffling....
Yet, there are rumours that Dylan might be about to take a lengthy leave of absence, which may be the cause of his recent extraordinary, (again by the Dev's standards), progress. What happens then? Will all the incest fans discover there was always supposed to be more to AWAM & maybe even find they like it, or will they stop playing, as I did, in my case owing to a surfeit of Dylan, paedophilia & incest?
Originally the game had such fantastic potential that almost all tastes could have been encompassed within its routes. That's no longer possible. Fans better hope that Dylan fucks his own mother before the turn of the half-century, so that at least one fetish can reach fruition, before they become middle-aged & perhaps even couldn't care less.
It's that he first wants to make ends meet to collect and then move... you see, he only moves when he's about to complete the payment cycle.
You can opt out of all incest routes in AWAM on per-character basis and very much from the start -- if you don't pick clearly marked options which advance these routes this promptly results in a situation where you can no longer pursue these routes even if you suddenly changed your mind and wanted to.

Ehh, that's basically hyperbolic bullshit. There's multiple other characters Sophia can engage with, including ones that blackmail her into said engagements.
I mean yes, incest is pretty central in the game (shocking and surprising, with the game from the very title making big deal out of protagonist being a mother, i know) but it's far from all there is to it.

The GW path is a distant memory.
Its going to be years before we see any sexual content with Sam/Alyssa ect.
So unless you play the incest route you have nothing for years

game is currently at day 21. All of these are actively ongoing storylines, with characters making appearances within last couple of in-game days. But sure, there's nothing in this game but incest.
sure, there may be a period of time now where the incest is what you'll mainly get. Although even then you are kind of overlooking that the supposed Dylan/Sophia incest apparently comes with heavy component of Neil and Sophia's boss, and neither of them is related to her. But considering you are talking about maybe one year out of 9 by now the game has been in development to say that "without incest there's basically nothing" is still nothing but hyperbole.
You're right about the presumed time frame.
But only those who have paid and don't like the incest shit have the proverbial financial reason to complain about the missing content they favor.
Everyone else is just a free rider and should play something else until there is content for them at AWAM again.

Wouldn't worry about it, it's just some reworked renders right at the beginning of the game in Part 1.

it seems like it going down more blackmail story lines, im guessing neil or liam boss is going to spy on dylan and sophia and make a video/picture of it like the old man did at the nursing home. i feel like neil has suspicion of sophia and sam since sophia decided to become sams secret girlfriend. the boss doesnt need a reason to be attracted to sophia because he already wants to find a reason to be close to her.
