The developer could have done it differently: Engage a larger team of developers (helpers) and not develop alone, and reduce the characters from Sofia's side! And there would be more entertainment content made by Ellie and Sofia. Such opportunities are lost! Could have done a Sofia game with Ellie early game, just more sexual action from Ellie early in development, Sofia mid game. Again, this way, Ellie would make Sophia look envious of Ellie sexual pastimes, without Sophia having any influence on her daughter's pastimes, would encourage Sophia herself to engage in such recreational activities. This is what I mean by showing the teaser below, you will understand me perfectly. And that would be great, and there would be no need to change the name of the game.

Exactly. Further, JOHN's eventual sex was incredibly underwhelming both due to how long it took (IRL) and how forced for the sake of it was. The timeline in the story was fine, oddly enough. If Stoper released on a normal schedule it would have come at a decent time IRL and plot pacing. Both ships have sailed with AWAM.
L&P is stalling until forever to finally get there with Sophia without realizing that doing so also guarantees that the moment (if it ever comes) will land like a bag of hot turds for A LOT of people. A 15 year buildup (at least) cannot possibly meet expectations.
And that's the answer: it's not about that (the storytelling). It's not about the build-up. It's about stalling to collect for as long as possible. Denying this is denying obvious reality.
