Exactly. Further, JOHN's eventual sex was incredibly underwhelming both due to how long it took (IRL) and how forced for the sake of it was. The timeline in the story was fine, oddly enough. If Stoper released on a normal schedule it would have come at a decent time IRL and plot pacing. Both ships have sailed with AWAM.
L&P is stalling until forever to finally get there with Sophia without realizing that doing so also guarantees that the moment (if it ever comes) will land like a bag of hot turds for A LOT of people. A 15 year buildup (at least) cannot possibly meet expectations.
And that's the answer: it's not about that (the storytelling). It's not about the build-up. It's about stalling to collect for as long as possible. Denying this is denying obvious reality.

I'm fine with Dylan going too far here and risking exposing Sophia and not leaving the decision up to her. I didn't have a problem with that in the scenes with Sam either.
What I did have a problem with was L&P not letting Sophia stand up for herself afterwards and giving the boys a good thrashing for their recklessness and ignorance.
I'm afraid it's the same here, the riskiest and most disrespectful action is the one that will lead the way with Dylan. If Sophia shows Dylan his limits, the route will end.

I mean yeah. What he is doing right now is a loss loss situation for him. People are starting to get frustrated, and even IF he will add a sex scene people that supported the game for many years will be dissapointed, because more than a decade of build up for a sex scene cant meet expectations.
He should really consider adding such a scene in the next year or so, maybe at least new supporters like me will satisfied then. But thinking about having to wait 5 more years for a potential sex scene makes me wanna ignore the game for my own good lol. Idk how long time supporters must feel.
